Yea I doubt I'll forget where I heard "it" from first, since I've been hearing for 3 years from you about how awful Dat is and how we have to get rid of him for anybody over 6" 240 who can make a couple tackles in practice..

You're certainly entitled to your opinion though. It's interesting at least. Better than hearing how Henson or Romo are going to be the next Aikmen or the next QC.

Actually baj you must be thinking of someone else...

I have NEVER said to get rid of him for anyone over 6-0 240...

If your going to tell a "story" then let people know by putting in a laughing face after your post perhaps...
Or if your trying to pass off that crap you posted as fact...Get a quote...Or here is a lil advice...Don't LIE online...

Hey Little JR...
Who do you think is?

Dat may not be the prototype ''Big'' ILB, but the guy is FOOTBALL Player. Same thing for Coakley. They are solid NFL players IMO. Too many teams get stars in their eyes when they look at the physical stats of these athletes, forgeting that the most important atribute is being a Football Player.

:hammer:

*** is with ppl who wanna get rid of proven ballers in favor of players who 'look good' ? I'm seeing the same thing now with Al S. , T Romo, Dat that we saw with D. Coakley. with these guys size is a big downside to thier game. I'd rather have a smaller guy who happens to make plays by knowing what they're doing than have a big dummy out there looking good. Thats not to say that Fowler, Henson , James etc are dumb but it would be nice if they actually showed something on the field other than physical asthetics like our 'tiny' players seem to be doing.

Most of these so called big guys can't carry Dats jock. Simple as that. ANd I am happy to say that DAT is here to stay no matter what some pretty boys think.

Just picking by size?
Not hardly fella...

As a person who "see's" whats going on inside the play, I can tell who CAN make plays and who is missing them...(Don't wear rose collored glasses)

Dat could & would excell as a Nickle/dime & ST player...As is...NO big plays from the lil guy...He can/could use what he does have in abundance...INSTINCTS to read 3rd down plays and be a BIG part of us doing better then what we have sucked at for a long time now...(Stopping 3rd down conversions)
He simply wears down, gets beat up, misses too many tackles, can't take on blockers, can't rush the passer and won't last even if he does start in this 3-4 D...

Fowler has been CRUNCHING players left & right on defense in his suited 3-4 and on ST's, the guy is a PLAYER!
So maybe James does go outside? But this guy will earn PT this year!

Don't forget where u heard it from first :D

yet we refuse to include him in a trade. Parcells has kept the kid around. But you know what, I agree with you, lets just throw 4 LB's out there who have like5 combined starts in the NFL...brilliant

"Tiny" Dat.

"Small" Al.

What is the deal with this "size" obsession?

The 3-4 is composed of primarily big athletic LBs... those guys are the playmakers in this type of defense.

Unless you haven't noticed, we've been slightly larger at LB than ladybugs the last ten friggin years...

It's about damn time for that change if I may add.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only person who is going to be taking Dat's spot anytime soon would be Shanle. Shanle is backing up Dat, and Fowler is backing up James. Given Bradie's track record, it seems somewhat likely that Fowler will take over for Bradie James. Given Dat's track record, he's not going anywhere.

Too much caffine today doomsy?

Not at all just hate a 2 face person talking out both sides of their mouth. As far as I'm concerned if the D fails that is Zimmer's baby and if they succeed it goes to him as well. However this deal of blaming him when you don't like something or giving credit to others when you do is total BS

You mean you're tired of watching our linebackers grabbing a leg and hanging on?
