i cant believe people where saying Smith should be a 1st rd pick. the guy is pretty good but he has been overrated all year because if you look at his stats they arent that good in yards considering the amount of talent they have. he had plenty of games where he didnt make mistakes but he wasnt very good either

Now as I understand it, aren't the coaches obligated to vote the winner of this game as the BCS NC in the coaches poll?

Bear with me a sec...

Unless I'm mistaken, are the sportswriters from the AP poll under no such obligation?

If this last statement is true then this would be the perfect opportunity for the sportswriters to collectively make a stand and vote Boise State as #1 and force another split national champion again.

It probably won't accomplish anything other than put additional pressure on the NCAA to reconsider some form of a football playoff format in the (hopefully) near future.

Of course this is all dependent upon Florida protecting their lead in the 2nd half and winning this bowl game.

Charlie Strong is doing alot of impressing IMO...totally dominating OSU's offense

OSU defense is playing an awful game...what kind of game plan was this? Prevent defense every down?

I saw Florida all yr in the SEC, they never looked anywhere near this good...

Tressell and Troy "CFL" Smith are both proving to be vastly overrated
