They couldn’t waste a pick on him so he is of no interest to them. It’s not a situation where they can feel like they out maneuvered another team using a valuable pick so it’s not ideal. And then imagine he signs here and outplays the 60 million dollar QB, that’s just way too much potential egg on their face so hell no it’s not happening.

Only way his name was on the official site is we thought we had a deal made with him. I think he backed out, last second. That stuff doesn't just happen. Of course Dallas is saying they never talked to him or his agent . I'm not buying it.

This guy is only 26 years old. He’s 6 foot five and he would be the fastest guy on our roster.

I would love to pick this guy up and give him a shot with a new regime next year.

He has an extremely strong arm as well.

He wouldn't be a bad addition if he could pass a physical. Wouldn't be a surprise if he's still having issues with last year's injuries (neck and ACL). He says his injury clause played a part in his being relegated to third string.

He’s better than Rush and Lance but that isn’t saying a whole lot. Besides, I want us to get destroyed the rest of the way. No potential improvements for this year wanted or needed.

Although I agree, I am conflicted. I want to win one more game this year, and it's against the Giants. We can lose the rest. How great would it be if it was with Jones? But I do agree that we don't need improvements this late into the season. We're not drafting a QB, so I guess an extra win or two isn't going to make much of a difference.
