News: Fox: DeMarcus Ware says Parsons won't do podcast during season if he joins coaching staff

Ledership
Dude is not a leader. He still gets a dozen sacks missing a third of the season.

He is still every bit a generational pass rusher.

The defense desperately needs leaders. Diggs has to be motivated to tackle. Kendricks seemed to move that needle about none.

Don't throw him away because he isn't perfection. Bring in some leaders instead.

the delusion so many have about deware is incredible. Guess what dude, making noise is not a leader
Please name me a time that Ware chirped at another player that was causing distraction on the team while he was playing here? Yeah I'll wait lol... Get real. Ware had that chance to do that while he was playing here, and now that he's retired he's gonna come and chirp at our best player? Lol ok....

Ware has a Gold Jacket. The podcast midseason is a distraction at best from a team perspective. It is fair to question his dedication. He doesn't train with the team.

Given players careers and broadcasting after playing, Parsons has good reason to do it nonetheless.

It is an interesting conflict.

Who do you think he said it for? Jerry would've already done all he could do, if he didn't want Micah to have the podcast. If it bothered the coaches, same thing. How many players have expressed concerns over it?
Publicly it’s only Hooker. Hooker is from a different organization. I wouldn’t expect Lamb or Diggs to say anything because this is all they know. I have a feeling if we asked Zimmers opinion on it it won’t be as favorable.

The podcast is only a "distraction" because the team isn't winning. Kelce brothers and Aman Ra St Brown and countless other players have podcasts during the season. Those player's teams are still in the playoffs. Micah and the podcast BS is just a scapegoat. Micah is really only one of the few consistent players on the team.

I would call it fair warning myself. Only a tiny percentage of NFL players have podcasts so acting like it is normal is just plain dumb

Agree and before someone says Draymond Green has one, yes but he also has multiple ship rings too.

No, it is a distraction because it is not football and it can take a lot of attention to do well. It is what it is.

As I said, I have no issue with what Micah is doing. I am just saying I can see the other side.

Which would seem to indicate that it's not the distraction some people claim it is.

Yea but don’t think he had the podcast while winning those ships, think that just recently happened within the last couple of seasons. May be wrong on that. Just noticed since they have not been winning is when the podcast happened.
