FOX: Keyshawn has had Talks With Parcells

Keyshawn CAUGHT the balls that Austin dropped. And he did it in traffic while being hit.

It might be just my memory, but I have a hard time remembering what great things Key did for us. I Think we could have had Hurd and Austin in that position and have it be as memorable. Key just seemed too slow when he was here.

There are things about Key that were more beneficial than his play. Not to take away from his play at all. Key was a hard worker with a fire in his belly.
We didn't have much of that going on when Parcells arrived.

Keyshawn was a better player for us at the time than Galloway was.

We had 2 speedsters and needed someone to move the chains.

You people forget how good Keyshawn really was for us.

NO no, no one forgets that he did a bunch of good here, it's fashionable to hate Bill's guys here.;)

Well gangsta, catching the ball gives you a chance to do something that dropping the ball does not.

I honestly never thought of him as one of Bill's guy because he was here before Bill. The same thing with Glenn

What was our Record for each of the Keyshawn years? :D

I think someone needs to brush up on the cowboys history- as in the last 4 years.

Again, man I thought we were in more of a rebuild mode. This is like shooting carp in a barrel.

Typical- losing the arguement so you change the arguement.
gangsta: its so very simple. If you do not CATCH the ball, NOTHING else matters.

I guess VT was what drew Parcells to Dallas in the first place.:D

Yeah :) That was stupid of me. I did think they were here before. Doh! :) Well nobody hates Glenn though. Dunno where this hate for parcells guy thing is coming from. I liked Parcells in fact, wanted him to come back.

:hammer: He did it here and it worked.

i don't know if i'd "build off of" keyshawn. spot role for a year or two sure, but not build off him.

I agree, he has what others can learn from in some areas.

I'm not saying you. But I know you see some threads around here that would look that way right? Hell there were folks here that about hated EMMITT after he left.

i can see parcells doing this. it's not like they have a plethroa of WR's key's going to bump off. he's not going to take the place of someone like...austin, for example. : )

giving our "superstars to be" a bit of a hard time but sure - i can see key there for a bit to show other players what a winner does on a daily routine.

there was no reason to trade away galloway for keyshawn.

the guy was benched by his team and was radioactive, yet the cowboys traded away a good player for him.

keyshawn didn't do anything special that made him worth trading away galloway for who would still be playing today.
