I'm not saying you. But I know you see some threads around here that would look that way right? Hell there were folks here that about hated EMMITT after he left.

I remember that too

Well gangsta, catching the ball gives you a chance to do something that dropping the ball does not.
Not when Keyshawn is involved. He catches it short and gets tackled immediately. Key probably has the lowest YAC of any NFL WR ever.

Keyshawn sucks and it was an absolutely terrible decision to trade/cut Galloway to get Keyshawn. There was no reason we couldn't have had Keyshawn, Galloway and Glenn, but BP had to be stubborn......

it didn't get us any playoff wins, did it? it did get us a more solid team but at this point, we simply don't know what the tuna will do in the end because this is new terratory for him also. we can speculate and we can know what he does need to do he'll do with familiar faces. all normal for him.

but what will the team do? in the end isn't that up to sprano and ireland?

i've seen lots of superstars line up and fade out. jimmy himself was going to do what in miami again?

we'll see what the tuna does but basing it off what he did in dallas, he'll just make them a better team *if* he can find another romo.

or is that ireland and sprano?

then again, no one who's gone to miami really found romo, did they?

complex, i suppose. : )

No it didn't. What it did get us was a team that could win it all.

Would Galloway being here have helped us? I doubt it. Not for a few years.

granted, we do have that. however, romo is a huge part of that reason and while parcells brought him along just fine, (yes, i admit that now) he didn't find or go after him.

that's why i put so little stock in individual talk people get wrapped up in.

was it parcells? was it jones? was it ireland? was it....who cares?

it needs to be "the cowboys" for us to make it where we want to go. no one person can possibly lead the way.

Sorry, would much rather have Galloway at this point than Keyshawn. Bill and Galloway didn't get along and Bill wanted his boy. Now, he was right to get rid of Antonio Bryant.......

Wow .... why is Parcells talking with Key instead of their new GM?

Well, they were in the shower together this morning and Bill liked Keyshawn's flexibility in reaching down for the soap.

as long as they didn't do any 'squatting' while in there...

Hmmm, could it be because Parcells is really the GM? I found it hilarious that Ireland announced the firing of Cameron the day after and was talking about how he really didn't know him, ya think?

That's a good point. :) But who really thought that Parcells wouldn't have final say? I mean why would Miami hire him? Parcells best value is as a team builder.

Well wasn't Galloway's injury one that usually takes 2 years for a player to get back to what they were? Same thing with McNabb?

which is why all the speculation of miami being good in short order is a bit premature, just like our demise after losing a few people.

this is a new role for parcells. if he really doesn't have final say then i'd suppose he would hire a lot of people who do in fact, for good reason, value his opinion.

Romo would have benefitted with Meshawn in his prime. Good hands, little faster than Witten.

he was on the boys (and soon miami) at the wrong time... during the building years.

People tend to agree with the guy who can fire them. :D

The only reason Parcell also isn't the GM in name is that, that was the only way to get Ireland.

Kinda the same thing that happened here? My opinion is it was in short order though. Kind of arguing with myself.:D

Exactly.
