Something tells me Fox Sports should swap Justin Herbert and Dak Prescott's picture so he can be technically seen as the fourth quarterback when looking top-to-bottom, left-to-right.

Hasn’t that always been the case though? Do we think people like Terry Bradshaw was elite? Or Trent Dilfer? I remember when Rex Grossman made a SB lol.

You'd think a "Franchise Carrier" in year 10 would have at least put that team on his back for just ONE Divisional Round playoff win.

I don't get the "elite" status of L. Jackson. Oh well, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I saw a summary of his numbers vs drew brees first 7 years in the league ... and he was ahead. Particularly surprising was his pass TD to interception numbers vs Drew. Of course his rushing threat is elite. Hard for me not to put him in the elite list.

Allen had a clear path to the SB last year. No elite team in his way. No Mahomes. No Lamar. No Burrow. And he crapped the bed against Bo Nix lead team. Forgive me if Im not impressed. But he might be the best right now. Stafford is in the best situation. Swap anyone into his spot and see what happens.

IF Mahomes is not elite, then no one is. allen has failed when it mattere; so has Jackson.
Brady went years between winning SBs TEN YEARS in fact 2005 to 2015
Mahomes has the rings and only in the last two years could you argue otherwise
BUT I will say if he does not step it up this year then I would agree he is in decline.

OMG , The Eagles fans are gonna flip you put Jalen Hurts down there on dependent on stars or whatever it is that is they are already angry They're gonna be more angry I mean Jalen Hurts is getting thrown under A bus this offseason it's about time somebody other than the Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks are being a little underrated I mean I know Hertz has his issues but he's better than that..

Well some will surprisingly take the words of people like Brady and A-Rod over yours. You would think they knew a little something about the position. Maybe they will change their mind after reading this.

The difference between elite and the rest is all mental. Allen has it. Mahomes has it. Lamar has the athleticism but not the elite mental. When I say mental, I don't mean intelligence.

Brady wasn't even close in athleticism to Mahomes and Allen but he more than made up for it with the mental. Same as P Manning.

I don't belive any of those so-called Elite quarterbacks are elite.

Mahomes was, but I think he like Allen and Jackson are more "Franchise Carriers" now.

I think the NFL is lacking any real elite quarterbacks right now.

That said I think teams are built better now to not need an elite quarterback to win Super Bowls.

I agree with this, Is Sam Darnold or Drake Maye elite? Hell no!
