News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

That’s still this guy. He might be battling some demons….doesnt change his heart though.
If it is, then he needs to take ownership of what he's done and use his celebrity as a platform to call for himself and others to do better. Of course, if he has a drinking problem then one of the hardest things might be getting him to admit that he has a drinking problem.

If he's driving when he can't pass a field sobriety test, then he has a problem even if it was a stupid mistake. An average of more than 11,500 people are killed each year in the United States because of drunk driving. Thankfully, I've never lost someone I love to that but I do know others who have. And it's sad that something so preventable causes such tragedy.
No argument about its bad
I hate drunk drivers; but I also know that some people screw up and do it only once and others do it all the time

His pr team will probably do this. Personally if he has a problem it’s his job to fix it for his family. I don’t feel he owes the fans or me anything.

Wisconsin people don’t care about drinking and driving.

In fact, many take the position that if you report a drunk driver you are a snitch.
which is sadly true in so many areas
Before MADD and others you saw drunks let loose again and agai

I don't have much in life but I wouldn't put any of what I do have in jeopardy by driving drunk

He'll get a slap on the wrist, but why risk it? Just seems so stupid

Not me. I would get me a driver and get back to drinking. Jk guys.

I actually don't drink at all. Gives me a headache.

Funny but most people on this site at one time or another have driven after having a drink. Do be so quick to judge.

Let the one that has not cast the first stone.......and here come the fireworks. :)
No worries it was sarcasm.

Drinking and driving is bad. Nobody should do it.

That said and I agree. A lot of us have made that poor decision before.

That said I don’t think it makes him a bad person per se. It’s just poor judgment. Hopefully he learns and doesn’t do it again.

It's not about owing us. It's about doing what's right if he's the kind of person that we think he is, the Good Samaritan who stopped to help people with a flat on his way home from a game where he had to have his chin stitched.

The bottom line is, people do stupid things every day.

The only difference is when a sports personality or other famous person does it, the world immediately knows.

Personally I am just glad nobody was injured.
trying to dig for more details but so far nothing
