Wow, that's funny about the Fox robot... My ex-girlfriend's little girl used to love that thing. I never even thought about it before, but it sounds like kids notice it and like it.

Anyway, I really like the Fox pregame. It's the only one I watch. Terry, Howie, and Jimmy just have great chemistry. And they're better on the games, too. I like Phil Simms, but the whole CBS presentation is kind of bland.

Haven't watched a pregame show in years. I turn the game on one minute before kickoff.

The CBS pregame is unwatchable. JB is the only good thing they have going. Marino, Shannon and Boomer :puke:

It was even worse when Deion was on it. The people who complain about Emmitt need to try and listen to Deion.

I would have to go with CBS for sure...

Fox gets fooled too much by play action passes....Do you guys remember the Giants game...The Camera Angles were horrible.

CBS all so does a lot sky cam replays so we can see the whole play develop.

FOX -- They still have the best pre-game crew. NBC Sunday Night Football is second. Gotta love madden.

wth is up with people not liking goose?
I love him on the sidelines rather than some chick who doesn't know jack that isn't in her notes.

I also love a lineman's prospectives on the game.

Haha I laughed when I read this. Goose definitely is very animated, I just freak out from time to time when you get used to moose and stockton talking and then all of the sudden Goose interrupts by yelling something that only he really understands. He's like this psedo-3rd announcer that you forget about until he startles you.

I like some of the posts about Fox. I really don't understand the robots either...but I really do like Jimmy, Terry and Howie.

Fox with a better picture then CBS? From what I have seen, CBS HD seems to look quite a bit better then Fox.

I agree with this. CBS is definitely way more clear and crisp on my TV at least.

CBS is your grandfathers "ye olde pregameth show." Its just bland and boring. Before Cowher got their they had absolutely 0 personality and charisma. I think the FOX robots stupid, but I can see from reading these posts it could probably be for keeping kids' attention. ESPN is horrendous, but they start an hour early so you don't really have a choice.

The CBS picture is much better on HD but their announcers are horrible, I feel bad for AFC teams that have to deal with Simms slurping up patriots every week cause Kraft is building a CBS Sports Zone at Gillette Stadium. Its a real shame Fox needs to upgrade their broadcasting capabilities.

I am beginning to get annoyed by the Gillian weekly sexual harassment by Terry, as I am sure others are. And starting to notice that NBCs Football Night in America is getting much better. Madden is definitely the best color commentator on the major networks, we need more people like him announcing the game and less gumbling bumbles.

I personally like Fox. Talking to friends though, I find the fans who support an AFC team liking CBS and fans liking a NFC team liking Fox. That does not surprise me. I like Fox's music, so I vote Fox over CBS plus I like their display. It seems more modern. But I'll watch ESPN Countdown in the morning.

Fox

the picture just seems better, plus the CBS music is annoying

has anyone tried watching college basketball on CBS? ugh

Glad to hear I am not the only one. They really need to stop playing the same tune every five seconds.

I don't get the robot.

Why not? Everyone knows robots... uh... play football and stuff...

I really don't know. Like many things, I would like to have been in the board room when they came up with that idea.

I personally like the announcing team of Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa. I miss Dick Stockton doing play by play along side the Moose though. I do think the Moose is a better color analyst than Aikman, to be honest.

And I can't stand Joe Buck.

Fox's Pre-game is ten times better than CBS's show. The set on CBS is just horrible, and there's no chemistry between the crew.

But, as said earlier, the best at the moment is NBC. From the "Football Night in America" pre-game show, to Al Michaels and John Madden calling the game. You can't get better than that.

CBS has hands down the worst HD out there. Fox, NBC, ESPN, NFLN all have far superior picture.

CBS' presentation is also very stale, as is NBCs. The music on NBC is awful. CBS music is tolerable.

To me it doesn't get any better than Fox during the playoffs.

CBS blows.....

ESPN was great when they had Irvin...Keyshawn sucks. I actually also liked Sterling, but they got rid of him too. I wish they would get rid of Keyshawn and Young. I can't stand the MNF announcers though.

I like Fox when Moose is calling the games. He is my favorite football announcer. I don't like when Aikman does the games. I don't care for Buck either.

I also like the NBC Sunday Night Telecast, though the pregame is a bit lame. I also liked the Sunday Night crew from the ESPN days.

I like Chris Collinsworth on the NFL Network, but he needs a better booth partner. I wouldn't mind seeing Deion in the booth with Collinsworth. I think they would be both entertaining and informative...we would get an offensive and a defensive angle to every game.

 I completely agree with everything you said.

And someone needs to get Dick Vermeil into a booth full time. He's excellent. I wouldn't mind seeing him paired with Collinsworth.

I watch Fox pre-game after the 1st hour of ESPN pre-game.

Curt Menefee is just as good as JB

Bradshaw does harass Jillian Barbaree, it is getting a little creepy

Howie is the best on that show, followed by Jimmy

Never watch the CBS show, could care less about the AFC

Joe Buck is a tool, listen to the Lions game on NFL replay, he was not objective.

The Moose' broadcast team is the best, Bucks obvious hate for the Cowboys and especially TO, to Troy trying not to be a homer. I hate it when they do one of our games. Tony S is the best sideline reporter, he makes me laugh.

I don't have HD, so I can't comment on the picture.

Primetime is awesome on NFL Network. The only reason to watch on game day.

As much as I love Switzer, and I do love the King, Grumpy Old Coaches is a waste of time.

Did I mention Joe Buck is the mayor of Munchkinland????

At least on FOX, compared to ESPN, you don't have to wait a lifetime for a Cowboys feature. ESPN pimps a 'boys feature in the 1st 5 minutes and airs it in the last 5, FOX gets it to you much quicker.
