You likely only win a Super Bowl if you have one of the four (or more) of these components:
1. Franchise quarterback
2. Generational (or league-leading) defense
3. Brilliant, innovative coaching
4. Stalwart offensive line
5. Transcending team culture
We have none of those. So, I'm not even going to put everything on Dak's shoulders.
Elway is the last quarterback I could say "single-handedly" took an undermanned squad to several Super Bowl, and you see how difficult it was for him.
I just don't think we match up in any of the aforementioned areas to beat the teams we need to to advance to the Super Bowl.
I mean, whose "brilliant" coaching decision was it to call a quarterback draw for the last series in a do-or-die playoff game and for the players to NOT know what to do in every scenario conceivable to make that play work?
No, Dak's not leading us to the Super Bowl this year. But it's not JUST because of Dak.
Then again, some dweeb is going to luck upon the winning numbers to the Power Ball lottery. Shrug.
