I totally agree. I was being sarcastic in my last post. Leon Hall is going to be a starting corner for some team in the NFL and Jarrett beat him like a drum. Nothing against Hall, as I do pull for the Wolverines, but performances like that really show DJ's worth.

Oh well, let them rant and rave about 4.3 40s.

Only time will really tell and show us how well the "slow" guys handle the NFL.

Are you serious.. you really dont know the difference between being fast and being physical?

If everyone who was fast could be a CB than all the track stars would play D-Back.

In college football there is a lot more contact allowed between WRs and CBs, thus the more physical player can thrive.

You and all the rest of the people around here that thinks speed is everything has a lot to learn.

I want to know if the supposed 18th overall pick, Leon Hall, ran a 4.3 40...then what on Earth was he doing getting toasted by 4.6 Dwayne Jarrett?

That's why I LMAO when I read people's statements downgrading Jarrett. Ignorance is truly bliss.......

Jarrett faced 3 of the top 5 (arguably) rated CBs in the draft last year...

Leon Hall -- Jarrett had 11 catches for 205 and 2 TDs

Chris Houston -- Jarrett had 5 catches for 34 yards

Dameyion Hughes -- Jarrett had 5 catches for 66 yards and 1 TD... I was at that game, and the TD Jarrett caught was over the middle, and he got lit up by the S IIRC, and had to leave the game.

i've been a jarret supporter but meacham is coming on strong and if we go WR in the 1st, i won't be upset. i'd like to address it hopefully *before* it's a must have.

Sorry but 40 times do matter. They are not the sole judge but they contribute to a player's likelihood of doing well. A WR with a slow 40 better have a ton of other pluses that make of for it. Jarrett may have those but it's a risk. You can't afford to risk a first round pick. Jarrett may end up being an NFL receiver but he is not worth the pick at 22 when there are other more worthy candidates with less downside.
