Frampton will start over McCray

I like it. At this point the book is written on McCray and it's clear from the big TDs on Thanksgiving that the Commanders know how to take advantage of him.

At worst even if Eric Frampton is equally as bad as McCray at least there is not much tape on him so his deficiencies are not as well known.

If you can't be good be unpredictable.

Yep...need guys who can tackle and cover a little

McCray might be a liability against the pass but the guy is a tackling machine

Its interesting to me how we have been able to find an ILB or 2 off the street who could contribute but at the safety position we have probably one of, if not the worse crew in the NFL.

When Sensy is the best one, your in huge trouble, and I see us having to put up 30 in order to win this game with these guys being the main reason why we have to do that.

The position needs to be upgraded, there shouldn't be a question about it. Every safety we have on the field right now should be cut, let Matt or a draft pick worry about special teams, and let McCray blame his couch instead of everyone else.

I like Frampton. Hate the idea of starting Peprah. Not sure what anybody sees in him at this point, but I'd prefer McCray to Peprah overall. His only advantage is that there's not a lot of tape on him in Dallas yet.

This is honestly the most pathetic post I've seen in ages, peprah is miles better than both McCray and frampton in coverage ainec.

Here is hoping that Frampton comes alive and helps us get the W

I didn't want you to think your reference went unnoticed,,,

Sure is, I watched a breakdown of one of Washington's TD's on Thanksgiving and McCray completely bit on a play fake and got beat by ten yards. While he was chasing the guy he kept looking at Carr when it was all on him.

His angles are terrible, his tackling worse. He just has no instincts. Keep him on special teams.

I saw that play. He looked at Carr twice as if he was trying to take the blame off himself andlet everyone know he didn't blow the coverage, which he did.

The safety should never let the receiver get deeper than he. The corner is the one who peels off if it's a short pass or a quarterback run. The safety has to make sure he doesn't get beat deep.

That's good.

McCray looked complicit on at least 2 easy TD's in the Thanksgiving game.

Rambo would do wonders for this secondary. I hope Dallas drafts him next April.

We need pass rushers in the worst way.

We need both pass rushers and better safety play.

Choosing one of them is just looking for the cheap way out of this mess and won't work.

Nice to meet you, Charlie.

A pass rush helps the secondary.

No pass rush and not even Ed Reed can prove the coverage you need to shut down a strong and accurate passing game.

I'd start with the pass rush first.

A secondary can help a pass rush, ask Seattle.

I'm still of the thought process we can help both, a pass rusher almost has to be taken in the first round while safeties can be found later. Now this pass rusher can be from the DL (harder to find from a DE) or a situational outside pass rusher like Seattle did with Irvin, but it is a position that deserves attention.

A pass rusher comes first only cause its a premium position so its harder to get later in the draft, but that doesn't decrease the importance of the need for more talent at safety.

He's like a poor man's Kenneth Davis... Or Alan Ball... Which is scary.

We can only wish to have Alan Ball back there.......and yeah thats even more scary.

If only that we're true, I could understand. But no, he just stood in place 15 yards behind the LOS as the WR aproached on a post with Carr in trailing coverage. In position to NOT help in coverage or run support.

McCray only played 1 snap on defense last week.
Not saying I remember that play, but would it surprise anyone if he had managed to both blow a coverage and miss a tackle on it?:(

Anyone we get in the later rounds is going to be a gamble, or more of a gamble I should say.

I'd rather have the pass rusher before the safety. But if we can get both, fine.
