Frankly, the way we lost should make this easy for Jerry

The decision making should be pretty easy at this point. The staff has to go. The only guy I'd actually consider bringing back is a guy like Al Harris, who I think did a nice job. McCarthy? Quinn? OL coach? Schottenheimer?

Good bye. And it should be done in the next few days. Not a week or two weeks from now like it typical for Jerry. It needs to be done now. Because if he wants a guy like Belichick*, then you go and try to get him now, not drag your feet for a week and then possibly screw up your chances of getting the guy you would want.

You don't touch Dak's contract. You hire your staff and then you let them decide if they can win with Dak. Then, only then, do you consider touching his contract. Jerry, likely, will do this backwards and foist Dak upon the new coach (or cause him to lose a coaching candidate who wants to start fresh at QB).

* As for Belichick, I really have no idea what I think of him. Is he just washed up like a Parcells was at the end or was he just stuck with churning a mediocre roster post the Brady run? I have no idea. What I'd really like is a great young offensive mind like a McDonald or LaFleur. Let a guy that knows offense then decide if he can work with Dak.

Someone on both sides of the coaching staff had to look at this game plan and question every level of it. Playing that much zone, is that a good idea? Feeding pollard, is that a good idea? It just seemed like both game plans were so flawed that the ball boy shoulda spoke up and said something. I dont think that will work coach quinn...

Someone said it in the game thread that Broaddus said on radio that Love has better success against zone than man.

We are a better man than zone team.

And yet we ran more zone, at least early, and watched Love pick us apart. What the *** was Quinn thinking?

I would like Harbaugh
He will change the culture
He has done it in Stanford, at SF and in Michigan

Of course it will never happen

No coach can win it all with Dak…period!

As I posted earlier, Quinn coached like he spent the week focused on job interviews and not the Packers.

It should. Will it though? Probably not. Hopefully his hangover is bad enough that he fires the coaching staff and cuts Dak immediately.
Can you imagine The Hangover he's going to have tomorrow morning? Oh man imagine waking up to that after this loss.

Yeah, no way Harbaugh is going to leave that culture that he built and is finally enjoying the fruits of his labor to start all over with this festering mess we've had for several decades.

I agree with you mostly, but I don’t think Shotty is a bad coach if anything I think he’s the one who probably got the most of out of this offense. I’d have to think about letting him go.

I think the one potential upgrade head coaching candidate is Belichick. If not him, I’m not sure anyone else is certain to be an improvement.

Nothing will happen, the only question is who will be MM scapegoat this season, Jerry isn’t changing anything, if he does I will be shocked that he did right thing for once.
