Frankly, the way we lost should make this easy for Jerry

Nothing will happen, the only question is who will be MM scapegoat this season, Jerry isn’t changing anything, if he does I will be shocked that he did right thing for once.
Realistically, Jerry will talk himself out of the work of hiring a new coaching staff. We all know it. This guy hates the process, the prospect of having to introduce another loser into his circle of trust

No coach can win it all with Dak…period!
No QB can win it with McCarthy at this point either.

So at this point, dump McCarthy, hire a coach and let that guy decide if he wants Dak or not (personally, I think both should be shot to the sun and we start over).

That's the prudent way to do it. But there is zero chance Jerry will do something prudent.

Same Front office folks... Reality is, 28 years and counting... Different coaching staff through out the years, same front office...

Someone said it in the game thread that Broaddus said on radio that Love has better success against zone than man.

We are a better man than zone team.

And yet we ran more zone, at least early, and watched Love pick us apart. What the *** was Quinn thinking?
Maybe the sabotage to get back on the interview trail?

The decision making should be pretty easy at this point. The staff has to go. The only guy I'd actually consider bringing back is a guy like Al Harris, who I think did a nice job. McCarthy? Quinn? OL coach? Schottenheimer?

Good bye. And it should be done in the next few days. Not a week or two weeks from now like it typical for Jerry. It needs to be done now. Because if he wants a guy like Belichick*, then you go and try to get him now, not drag your feet for a week and then possibly screw up your chances of getting the guy you would want.

You don't touch Dak's contract. You hire your staff and then you let them decide if they can win with Dak. Then, only then, do you consider touching his contract. Jerry, likely, will do this backwards and foist Dak upon the new coach (or cause him to lose a coaching candidate who wants to start fresh at QB).

* As for Belichick, I really have no idea what I think of him. Is he just washed up like a Parcells was at the end or was he just stuck with churning a mediocre roster post the Brady run? I have no idea. What I'd really like is a great young offensive mind like a McDonald or LaFleur. Let a guy that knows offense then decide if he can work with Dak.
Man Bill just seems like a red flag hire. I think the game has passed him by and can't imagine he brings a lot to the table except some old school disclpine, but would need a great offensive mind to help him with the offense.

Anyone who is remotely CAPABLE of changing the culture will not be brought in due to Jerry’s ego.

At this point I’m just waiting out his death to have a small shot at that changing, although it probably won’t.

I’m getting close to not caring anymore, or at least a lot less.

This is the worst loss in decades
I left the game after the pick-6. I have never left a game with less than 10 minutes left in the game. This was easily the most disgusting game I’ve ever had the displeasure to spend $ on. There have been other disgusting games, like during the Campo years, but they were expected to be disgusting. This one wasn’t.

Bill brings discipline and defense. He can bring McDaniels with him for offense.

And there in lies the 28 year problem.

Too much talent on this team to go out and have a game like that against this team

Dak is going to be a June cut.

Yeah, no way Harbaugh is going to leave that culture that he built and is finally enjoying the fruits of his labor to start all over with this festering mess we've had for several decades.
he is facing yet more and maybe longer suspensions plus just lost his star rb and qb, he is fed up and probably still wants that sb his brother won over him

I doubt these cowards do anything at all.
