I don't think Fred will ever be the same guy, and it looks like Martin is having a lot of issues with his injury, but what's more disturbing is that they're both making a lot of mental mistakes.

Look at the 2 pt conversion. Right up the middle.
 
The Jets came with a safety blitz and the Cowboys were in a 5 WR set. No one was in the backfield to pick up the blitz. Was Dak supposed to signal the blitz and Zeke back into the backfield to pick up the safety?
I don't know what happened there but it seems like Dallas missed that one. I saw Martin get pushed around a couple of times by the Jets DT. I have seen that a few times this year and it is very worrisome.

i seen Martin on his butt far too often yesterday. And going 5 wide was stupid. On the two point conversion. No play action threat. No run threat. You had very little space to work with and we go 5 wide? I rather we went 2wr 2 TE and a running back and atleast have a threat of a run. I mean terrible.

Either way, the interior linemen are supposed to block inside out.

youre at the goal line the safety is in the box....hes not going to bail out and cover...hes already too deep why motion zeke out? what coach even calls that play to Allow zeke to be motioned out?

Its a dead give away they are bringing the house and we run curls.....freaking CURLS!!! Run a quick slant it woulda been wide open

Agree and whats worse is everybody and their mother knows Gregg Williams will bring the heat there except this coaching staff.

Absolutely. I’d start Looney if this is the best Fred can do. Martin is just being overwhelmed trying to help Fred right now.

It was also Martins guy who made the play on our 4th down QB run that got stuffed for a loss. Guy came all the way from the right to make that play.


This OL has not been special in a long time. Dak didn't get sacked 58 times last season because the OL is great.
