OK, so I used my draft spreadsheet a little when doing this as it is not a homeristic spreadsheet. So, I came up with how I see the full first round shaking out. This is my first attempt, updates to follow (potentially) once I read up more on certain players. I did this without allowing for trades.

Note: I believe Ramsey to be the best player in this draft currently, but I did not use personal feelings when putting these 31 picks in order. Also, top 5 needs came from NFL.com site.

#1: Titans

Top 5 needs: OT, WR, CB, S, DE
Selection:
Tunsil, Laremy, OT, Mississippi
Reason: need to protect the franchise QB; also, with addition of Murray, more OL help makes the run game better, makes the play-calling better (more options), etc. etc.

#2: Browns
Top 5 needs: QB, WR, DL, ILB, OL
Selection: Wentz, Carson, QB, NDakota St
Reason: They need a QB, period. Wentz has come out as the #1 QB in most places. If no trades allowed, Wentz is the pick.

#3: Chargers
Top 5 needs: DL, OT, OG, S, TE
Selection: Goff, Jared, QB, California
Reason: Much like Dallas, they need a replacement, ready in the wings @ QB; Goff is their preference based on being the most ready west-coast style QB.

#4: America’s Team
Top 5 needs: CB, QB, RB, DT, pass rush
Selection: Ramsey, Jalen, S, Florida St
Reason: After run of 3 offensive players, Dallas takes the best defensive player, and likely #1 player on their board.

#5: Jaguars
Top 5 needs: OLB, DT, S, OG, C
Selection: Jack, Myles, OLB, UCLA
Reason: Jack, if healthy, might be the best athlete in the draft.

#6: Ravens
Top 5 needs: OT, OG, CB, OLB, WR
Selection: Stanley, Ronnie, OT, Notre Dame
Reason: They always seem to build their team in the trenches and they continue that trend.

#7: 49ers
Top 5 needs: QB, ILB, OT, OG, WR
Selection: Bosa, Joey, DE, Ohio St
Reason: Chip Kelly sobs into his palms as his two QB’s go early; Bosa is a good consolation prize

#8: Eagles (from Miami)
Top 5 needs: RB, OG, OT, pass rush, WR
Selection: Elliott, Ezekial, RB, Ohio St
Reason: They basically have very little @ RB, and break the Giants hearts by selecting the best RB in the draft.

#9: Buccaneers
Top 5 needs: CB, OT, S, WR, DE
Selection: Buckner, DeForest, DE, Oregon
Reason: Need pick, but also a guy that could have gone earlier; “Bucs take Buckner” has a good ring to it.

#10: Giants
Top 5 needs: LB, WR, OL, RB, S
Selection: Treadwell, Laquon, WR, Mississippi
Reason: If they hadn’t overspent on DB already, then perhaps Hargreaves is the pick here. They pair a guy with great skills with OBJ to create a formidable receiving threat.

#11: Bears
Top 5 needs: Pass rusher, DE, QB, OL, CB
Selection: Lawson, Shaq, DE, Clemson
Reason: Lawson is one of the best pass rushers in the draft and the Bears need to create pressure. They almost go with Lynch @ QB.

#12: Saints
Top 5 needs: OLB, WR, CB, OG, DL
Selection: Hargreaves, Vernon, CS, Florida
Reason: They can’t outscore people like they did in the past. So, they grab one of the best DB’s to help the defense get off of the field.

#13: Dolphins (from Eagles)
Top 5 needs: CB, S, OT, OG, DE
Selection: Conklin, Jack, OT, Michigan St
Reason: Arguably the best OT left on the board.

#14: Raiders
Top 5 needs: OT, CB, ILB, S, RB
Selection: Ragland, Reggie, ILB, Alabama
Reason: They strengthen their LB corps with arguably the best interior LB in this class.

#15: Rams
Top 5 needs: QB, WR, C, S, CB
Selection: Lynch, Paxton, QB, Memphis
Reason: They trip repeatedly running this card to the desk. In a “no-trade” environment, he falls into their lap.

#16: Lions
Top 5 needs: OT, CB, DT, ILB, DE
Selection: Decker, Taylor, OT, Ohio St
Reason: They shore up the Oline with the 4th OT taken in the first round.

#17: Falcons
Top 5 needs: Pass rusher, TE, S, ILB, OG
Selection: Rankins, Sheldon, DT, Louisville
Reason: Tempted to draft Hunter @ TE; They start to build up the DL.

#18: Colts
Top 5 needs: OT, OG, OLB, CB, S
Selection: Floyd, Leonard, OLB, Georgia
Reason: Had been projected to go a little earlier than this. The Colts are happy to take him off of the board to fill their OLB need.

#19: Bills
Top 5 needs: OT, DL, WR, LB, K
Selection: Doctson, Josh, WR, TCU
Reason: They need a play-maker on offense and get one here.

#20: Jets
Top 5 needs: OT, edge rusher, ILB, TE, CB
Selection: Apple, Eli, CB, Ohio St
Reason: Apple the best left on the board @ CB.

#21: Commanders
Top 5 needs: C, DL, ILB, WR, CB
Selection: Nkemidiche, Robert, DT, Mississippi
Reason: Some projected him higher; he is the type of player the Commanders typically draft and helps out their interior Dline.

#22: Texans
Top 5 needs: WR, TE, OT, OG, DE
Selection: Fuller, Will, WR, Notre Dame
Reason: His skill-set is just what the Texans need to try to take the next step.

#23: Vikings
Top 5 needs: WR, CB, OT, OG, P
Selection: Coleman, Corey, WR, Baylor
Reason: They add some speed to the outside.

#24: Bengals
Top 5 needs: WR, NT, LB, C, OG
Selection: Billings, Andrew, DT, Baylor
Reason: Bengals fill a need with one of the better interior linemen remaining.

#25: Steelers
Top 5 needs: CB, S, OG, OT, OLB
Selection: Lee, Darron, OLB, Ohio St
Reason: Another cog to drop into their 3-4 alignment.

#26: Seahawks
Top 5 needs: OT, CB, C, DT, DE
Selection: Reed, Jarran, DT, Alabama
Reason: they have a choice between two DT’s from Alabama. A flip of the coin chooses Reed.

#27: Packers
Top 5 needs: ILB, CB, OLB, OT, TE
Selection: Alexander, Mackenzie, CB, Clemson
Reason: They would have gone Henry @ TE if they hadn’t just signed one. Thus, they opt for best CB available.

#28: Chiefs
Top 5 needs: OLB, QB, S, WR, DL
Selection: Bell, Vonn, S, Ohio St
Reason: The run on Ohio St players continues. Bell is the 2nd best S prospect in the class.

#29: Cardinals
Top 5 needs: S, C, OLB, CB, TE
Selection: Henry, Hunter, TE, Arkansas
Reason: Cardinals thrilled to get the best TE in the draft (by far).

#30: Panthers
Top 5 needs: OT, DE, DB, RB, P
Selection: Dodd, Kevin, DE, Clemson
Reason: Carolina picks one of the best DE’s remaining.

#31: Broncos
Top 5 needs: QB, OG, LB, DE, S
Selection: Spence, Noah, DE, E.Kentucky
Reason: Broncos won the SB with defense; they go defense with first pick, since top 3 QB's are gone

NO ROUND 1 PICK (cheaters): Patriots

Top 5 needs: DE, OT, CB, WR, RB

If Spence is falling like that I go get him. Unless his off-field really looks like it hasn't been addressed.

I really dont think the chargers are picking a QB ,Rivers like Brady can play for atleast 3-4 and he doesnt have injury concerns like Romo.

Don't see the Chargers going QB at #3 either. Rivers does however have injuries as well. He had a bulging disc just a year ago this time that luckily didn't require surgery. He also has knee issue to go with the back issue.

All these guys get injured. Romo is not alone in having been injured. He is however not injury prone IMO.

Id be fine with Ramsey or Jack, even though i would prefer to trade down. Regardless seems more realistic than most, good job.

Fun
I feel very strongly that SD will not use the 3rd overall pick on Jared Goff.
However, that's not to say there's at last some chance Goff get taken in that slot

Agreed...

What's it going to be then, eh?

I agree. Their situation is far more "win now" than Dallas' ever could be. McCoy is lucky to still have a job, they are campaigning for a new stadium.

It's to the point now where when I see Ramsey at 4 I just flush and wash my hands. This is Terence Newman and Morris Claiborne all over again. You might as well call him Terris Newborne.

Easy fella...there are women and kids on site. The graphics aren't really needed.

#4: America’s Team
Top 5 needs: CB, QB, RB, DT, pass rush
Selection: Ramsey, Jalen, S, Florida St

I'm good with this... if this doesn't happen tho then I'd like a trade down for Lynch. I still think he has the best tools of the bunch.

Lynch is growing on me, but not @ #4...I think the best way Lynch can help the cowboys is by them trading to the Rams for their 1st and two 2nds so THEY can take lynch

Rivers is 34, Romo turns 36 in about a week............also, the Chargers just gave Rivers a 4 yr, $84 million dollar contract back in August with $65 million guaranteed!!!

I have never heard of an NFL team giving its starting QB a brand new contract with almost $70 million in guaranteed money and then using a top 3 pick on a new QB just 8 months later.

Sorry, but this is just not even logical.

Their fans could make a legitimate comparison to the Osweiller situation(but worse) like so many here have tried to do. They also had the opportunity to trade Rivers last year and take Mariotta, but turned it down. I don't see why they would turn that down, extend him and then draft a QB at 3 the next year. Now maybe a QB goes in that slot, but it's not going to be to SD.
