Frederick not going on IR

I bet we will see him sometime this month just my guess.

Funny how fans think they know more than team doctors and trainers. The front office made this decision based on the doctor's report and medical staffs advice, not some dude sitting at home on his computer.
Jerry wouldn't put Jaylon Smith on IR in 2016 because he thought he could be available for the playoffs. They thought Romo could go back in and play against Seattle with a broken back, allowed Scandrick to continue playing last year with a broken back, thought Fred Beard only had a stinger, etc. I don't trust a word the front office says about injuries. They speak about injuries and I assume they are lying through their teeth. They lost all benefit of the doubt with me.

Santa Claus isn’t real. The Giants will have 6 or less wins and won’t be a threat in the NFC for several more years. NE will win their division. Bellichick is a cheater. Jerry Jones is a slime ball. Ford is better than Chevrolet. Dlaw will have at least 3-4 sacks in his first two games. The sun will rise in the east and set in the west. Phillip Rivers will never win a Super Bowl. The Rams or Eagles will have on of the top 3 defenses. Rico will get suspended at some point. The Cowboys won’t get Earl Thomas this year. Jason Witten will go down as the best TE to ever play for the Cowboys (even 20 years from now). Mike Holmgren is over rated. College football is better than NFL. The NFL will continue to ruin and dilute the game with rules and bad officiating. There will be a lockout during the next CBA. The Cowboys will always be favored with a Thanksgiving Day game. Starting to have faith in Stephen being as bad as Jerry (used to not think that).

Would you like me to address specific subjects other than football? We can start a new thread in a separate forum or I can PM you which could be really interetsing and could make you think I should be committed, maybe I should?

PS. I hope you enjoyed your walk! Missing a good game at Jerry World though.
I open the floor to your thoughts on any stage...
I find this fascinating!

Fredrick is being treated by specialists from outside the organization. He wasn't diagnosed by the training staff, but by specialists.

They will have a huge say regarding when he can return. Even moreso than the training staff, I would submit

You're right, but they aren't the ones who will be pumping us information. The ones who have been known to sugar coat these situations will be doing that and I don't trust them. Not one bit.

I don't like this. For the long-term benefit of the team, I think Frederick should take a couple of months off to get his body healed and back in shape before taking the field. Putting him on I/R makes more sense to me.
If he is to miss less than 4 weeks makes sense, more than 4 weeks I agree with you.from what has been posted this disease works likes a flu, if caught early enough the permemanent damage is pretty much avoided and right now they are treating the symptoms and stopping the weakness. all the muscle memory is there along with the strength, I am sure there is possibility of relapse but it is highly unlikely in the type of person Frederick is, ie healthy, young,in shape, caught early enough etc.

If the Cowboys don’t have any working knowledge of Fred’s timetable, this was a horrifying move to just give up a roster spot

It shows a level of respect for what Frederick is and how the team values him...that builds team character and a valid sense of reward for actual merit.

It's encouraging to me to think the staff and this team is open to keeping tabs on Frederick with an open mind to returning him to full active duty if and when his appropriate health indications allow for that to happen. This organization has long leaned on erring on the side of caution, rather than to rush into returning players to active duty prematurely. I think Frederick is in good hands and that he is confident in their good judgment to make the proper decisions in his best interest. They stated from the start that his long term health would be the deciding factor in his eventual return to the field.

Betting this is more about Jerry's chronic overoptimism than any sound medical evaluation.
