Ramon Foster, G, Steelers. Age: 27
Will leave because he will be stuck behind DeCastro and Colon. Wants an oppurtunity to start
Donald Thomas, G, Patriots. Age: 27
Will want a chance to start. Is stuck behind Mankins and Connolly
Tyronne Green, G, Chargers. Age: 27
Will probably allowed to hit FA because Vasquez is a much bigger priority
Matt Slauson, G, Jets. Age: 27
Decent player nothing special, but knows Callahan's system.
Just get 2 of these guys it doesn't matter who. This would solidify the interior Oline and allow Mackenzy Bernadeau to move to center if Costa is still hurt or begins to suck again. All are young and fairly inexpensive. They will not break the bank but could be around easily for 5 years. I would prefer Foster and Thomas as they would both sign quickly if promised an oppurtunity to start. An Oline of Smith, Foster, Bernadeu, Thomas, and Parnell might not be dominant, but it would be a definite upgrade.
Patrick Chung, S, Patriots. Age: 26
Kenny Phillips, S, Giants. Age: 26
Sign them both. Allow them an oppurtunity to start. The contracts should not be expensive as both have been injury prone, but both safeties are young and have starting experience. Both can hit and cover, the perfect safeties for the tampa 2 if healthy. If not healthy they can both be cut.
Sammie Lee Hill, DT, Lions. Age: 26
Stuck behind Fairly and Suh. He is big and would be perfect for the 1 tech spot as he still has some pass rush ability. He could be had for a modest contract that won't break the bank.
William Hayes, DE, Rams. Age: 28
Stuck behind Quinn and Long but still got 7 sacks. He could start for alot of teams and would be perfect on the strong side. He would probably need a contract in the 6-7 million range but would be alot cheaper than Spencer who wants a 10 million a year contract.
A line of Ware, Hill, Ratliff, and Hayes would be one of the better ones in the NFL and it would not break the bank. With the money spent on Spencer, 2 starters could easily be brought to the Dline.
This would also allow Dallas to take the BPA in the draft without reaching for a position of need. I also chose realistic FAs as Dallas will be cash strapped.
