I believe so. Also, David Garrard is going to the Jets. I'm going to miss the Sanchez Comedy Show.
That's great news for Garrard.
One of the NFL's class acts. Good (not great, but good) QB too.

I would assume he is the backup for Sanchez though, until he beats him out in preseason. :p:
They had said Garrard was far and away the best QB in the Miami camp last preseason before he got hurt.

Regrading Cruz, does the 1st round tender apply to this year's draft?

Yes.. And it must be the teams own pick.

I.E: Both Minnesota and St. Louis are speculated to go after them, and both have 2 first rounders. The Giants would receive each team's own 1st rounder (so not St. Louis' via Wash, and not Minnys via Seattle) should the Giants decline to match a deal from either of them.

At least this is what I understand of it.

Ed Reed may be heading to the Niners.

They want to win it this year and if they get Reed also they just grabbed 2 prominent players that just helped beat them to win a championship.

Then all those draft choices, with 5 in the first 3 rounds. Just insane.

Very well run. Only downside is, they have a lot of young talent that will be hitting FA around the same time. Can't keep them all, so they will have tough decisions to make in the next two years.

But the bright side, they choked big time on their 1st round pick last year. :)

Expect Revis to be traded tomorrow, one team has a serious offer on the table. Rumor per NFLN.

Gerrard is a good guy and consistent but they now have Sanchez, Gerard. McElroy....pretty ugly. Even heard they were thinking of bringing in Brady Quinn. Pupu platter of QBs.

Not pretty at all.
Plus, whoever is the QB won't have much weapons either.

Wallace will sign with the Dolphins today. Kruger most likely to the Browns.

Teams like Dallas may trade players for players. Rumors from NFLN.

Interesting. Did the speculate what teams we'd be dealing with? Or was this just an attention grabber?

No they just said teams tight on the cap like us might trade players. I don't get how when bonuses accelerate.

I don't think that's necessarily true...From all I'm reading there's going to be a pretty big bidding war for Wallace's services between Miami and Minnesota. Especially now that Minnesota has nothing at WR after trading Harvin.

Steelers released OG Willie Colon.

The seven-year veteran has been designated as a June 1 release, allowing the Steelers to spread his cap hit out over the next two seasons. The move frees up $5.5 million in space. Despite the "June 1" designation, Colon is immediately free to sign with any team. With experience at both guard and tackle, Colon should have a nice little market in the second wave of free agency provided his troublesome knees check out.

As of 3:29 He agreed with the Dolphins. He does everything fast. :laugh1:

Nothing on Mike Jenkins and Felix Jones yet?:)

I thought Jenkins would sign with someone pretty quickly. Although, I wouldn't mind having Jenkins back for another year. Felix? No.
