first off, the top complaints on Brad Johnson are he's old and has no arm, so how would signing Garcia be any different? He's old and has zero arm. He'd be an awful fit here.

I say we have a lot of house cleaning to do....15, maybe 20 players.

QB - Johnson, Bollinger
FB - Cricket
WR - Hurd, and maybe Stanback
TE - Curtis
OL - Procter, Berger, McQuistan, and maybe Free
DL - Tank, and maybe Bowen, Hatcher, Spears
LB - Carpenter, Ellis, Rogers, Thomas and maybe Burnett
CB - Pac Man, Henry
S - Brown, Watkins, and maybe Roy

FREE AGENTS I WANT
FB - Lorenzo Neal - Baltimore
DT - Albert Haynesworth - Tennessee
ILB - James Farrior - Pittsburgh or Bart Scott - Baltimore
OLB - Karlos Dansby - Arizona
FS - Oshiomogha Atogwe - St. Louis
SS - Jim Leonhard - Baltimore

when did that happen? I have seen a few Free Agent sites that list him as a UFA.

DE - Ratliff, Canty
DT - Haynesworth
OLB - Ware, Dansby
ILB - Scott, James
CB - Newman, Scandrick
S - Hamlin, Atogwe

That would be a sweet starting lineup on defense.

I'd say any of you thinking there are going to be major free agent signings involving us are going to be sorely disappointed.

We may sign a couple of lower tier free agents, but thats about it.

I agree 100% and anyone with any common sense would as well. Sign Haynesworth and you can kiss Ware goodbye. Some of these guys seriously need to get real.

how so? We dont actually have to sign Ware this season. If 2010 is indeed uncapped, we can sign Ware next season with some very nice compensation.

We should try going younger at veteran backup quarterback. Besides, the likelihood that Jeff Garcia would sign here for any amount of money is very, VERY remote.

YEAH IT WOULD BE SWEET BUT IMO DANSBY WOULD BE A MIDDLE LINEBACKER NEXT TO JAMES.....EITHER HIM OR SCOTT AT MIDDLE.....OUTSIDE WE GOT SPENCER AND WARE.....get HAYNESWORTH...O PLEASE....GET HIM JERRY!!!

I would much rather have Big 52 instead of Bart Scott, you cannot beat the leadership he offers.

Because Stephen Jones said as much, but hey, once they see the Biggems plan i'm sure they'll scrap their plans and go with yours.

just wondering......no need to be a jerk about it.

I will admit, i am no cap guru. so forget about Hayneworth....we can still go after Neal, a couple of LBs, and a S.

One possibility about adding Haynesworth (however unlikely) is that the D Line would have 3 guys...Haynesworth, Jay Ratliff, and Marcus Spears that could line up at any of the 3 spots in our 3-4 and as long as they know their assigments, could rotate all throughout the game. That would be a pain for offensive lines. Teams would want to double Haynesworth so Ratliff would go off.

Never heard it like that but it sounds sick!!! What a pipe dream:D

Why would we sign Dansby? We would be doing the exact same thing that we did with Spencer this year. You've got to let draft picks see the field consistently at some point.

I have no prove and zero knowledge of the Commanders cap, but I bet you Albert Haynesworth ends up in Washington. They will go after him. You can count on it.

Tennessee should have never let Haynesworth get to this point. Bud Adams is a tightwad.

I have no interest in Jeff Garcia. He will be 39 years old by the time the season starts. I don't trust players that old. Witness Brad Johnson.
