what round? Remember we don't have a 4th. So we either use a 2nd or 3rd OR we drop to a 5th rounder. Do you trust a 5th-rounder as your backup?

Cooper Rush wasn’t even drafted in 2017. Cowboys just signed him as a free agent. It’s not like it matters that much when you’re talking pure backups, especially if your team won’t be contending for home field when an injury replacement QB for a game or two might be important.

I wouldn’t use a first or second. Way too many holes to fill. Really it’s about scouting the right guy. Romo was undrafted and Dak was a 4th. But the odds are really slim outside the first though it can happen
