Free Agent DT's?

How do some of you know about all these players from other teams? I can only watch the cowboys, and a few playoff games. Lol. I couldn't care less about some regular season "saints vs. Bengals" game.

Some of us are football fans. Not being insulting, I love the Cowboys and watch them over any other game but I love watching football be it high school, college or other Pro teams.

there are plenty......but everyone might say they are not scheme fits for marinellis defense lol. i like damon harrison because of his run plugging but once again, is he a scheme fit?

yeah people just dont get it that part of the problem is Marinelli and his scheme.
he doesnt want the DT fans want, neither do the jones boys or JG.

I think they have positions picked out that they would like to not have to pay top dollar for and DT is one of those positions.

Safety and RB is another.

We need to re-sign Jack Crawford too, shouldn't be expensive but he brings versatility and some interior pass rush.

Agree, proved last year he can rotate and provide a spark. Of course hoping nothing guaranteed and short 1-2 near vet min type otherwise let him test market; but don't know how restrictions work regarding UDFAs; I know Leary is restricted or exclusive, etc. Could take Mincey's role and also rotate @ 3 tech with Tyrone.

Cowboys re-signed DT Nick Hayden.
Hayden started all 16 games last season, but was among the league's least-effective defensive tackles. He graded out dead last in Pro Football Focus' ratings, getting whipped by the run while generating zero pass rush. Hayden's spot on the 53-man roster won't be assured. Thu, Mar 19, 2015 07:43:00 PM

Those are glowing comments. He graded Dead Last. How is that possible for a starting DT? That's pitiful..
Doesn't it make you feel great that we didnt even take a late round flyer on a DT?

One name.....Billy Winn 1 Tech.

Won't break the bank....and is exactly what this team needs in the middle. Better than spending a 3rd on that turd Austin Johnson DT Penn St.

I would focus on safety, CB and LB; DTs can be had in the draft and several can push Golden Cock to the bench.

Some might disagree burt losing Justin Durant made a huge impact in 2015. Dallas needs to find guys like Durant in FA who can be solid contributors but do not command top salary.

Agreed. I would try to get 2 in this draft and have a nice rotation. Crawford is a decent player but he is not good enough to not consider another 3tech. Take advantage of this deep DT class.

Terrell McClain was probably going to take more snaps than Hayden this past year, but he got hurt. As for Hayden, I think he can still be a useful depth guy. I see Dallas re-signing him (probably after the draft) and this place is going to blow up.;)
