Cowboys $106 million free-agent WR says Dallas doesn't do enough to help Dak Prescott

Free agency has started and the Dallas Cowboys are once again continuing their frugal ways, which means there isn't much help coming for the highest paid player on the team. Quarterback Dak Prescott is the lightning rod for both the Cowboys' successes and failures, but according to wide receiver Brandin Cooks, it's the organization that needs to step up their game, not Prescott.

In an interview with DLLS Sports, the free agent WR who's made over $106 million across his career and played with Prescott the past two seasons, believes the organization isn't doing enough to put the franchise QB in the best position to win.

He needs a head doctor that's for sure
Actually have a point here. I’m not trying to be funny, sarcastic, or take a shot at Dak. I believe the organization is not doing enough to win. If you want to personalize it with 1 player then yes the organization is not doing enough to support Dak. If Dak feels this then he will carry this into games. Especially big games. You can see it sometimes when he gets that look on his face. If the team isn’t going to do enough to help him as far as supporting cast then at least bring in a sports psychologist to help him stay in the moment and not get overwhelmed.

You can almost see it in games when the momentum has shifted and he tightens up. Jerry can afford a sports psychologist to help with the mental piece.

Dak doesn't do enough to help Dak

Oh he needs help alright. Help in the form of the 3 All-pros on the line, stud running back, stud receivers, essentially everything has to be perfect - and the highest paid QB in the league shouldnt need the perfect situation to excel. Go out and elevate your team with your play like the other greats do, but thats not Dak.

What does Dak have around him right now?

Been saying this for years. A sports psychologist might do wonders for him. He's shown the skill set to make all the necessary throws, but he seems either hesitant or overexcited, when the time comes.

I have a feeling they are done trying to build this team around Dak. I say this coz Jerry only wanted to give McCarthy a 3 year extension, exactly around the time Dak's contract expires. It seems they are shifting their priorities to defense and conservative ball-control offense. Ride out Dak's contract over the next 2-3 years and move on.

It will be interesting to see who they replace Cook with ............top draft pick or Parris Campbell

Dak is trash, but so is Cooks….he has NEVER been close to his billing as a #2 for Dallas…only a fool would give this guy money at this point…so Booger probably will.
I hate when someone calls another person, trash....for something trivial like a game. I save that term for liars, cheats, murderers and those that call them trash

And what’s crazy is Dak was MvP runner up and All Pro with this front office. You got thr right guy now build around him.

Look how the Texans are doing everything they can to take advantage of Strouds contract or the Eagles with Hurts or Tua or Burroe.

Dak has his blame in our failures for sure but the Cowboys arrogance or incompetence after one of the best rookie campaigns said you know what we did so well their rookie year let’s waste time trying to fight Zeke’s suspension and not build around Dak. Yeah a past his prime Dez, Terrence Williams and Witten should be enough as we proceed to watch Chaz Green repeatedly get destroyed by a man with one arm.

Dak and Zeke should’ve had more post season success than they did. Arrogance and incompetence killed that.
