Twitter: Free Agent WRs

Keenan Allen is cooked, not a legit option.
Cooper is probably the only option, and I think that divorce was too messy for a reunion.

Sadly WR probably is what it is. Unless Jerry goes way out into left field and gambles on Pickens I don’t see what realistic options there are for an upgrade. We are going to see Lamb-Tolbert-Mingo-Turpin this year.

RB is the position that 100% needs to be addressed. Counting on either Williams or Sanders is going to be a colossal mistake. Much like Zeke was last year. Blue is a nice option as a secondary back, but we need a RB that can carry the ball 250+ times for 4.5 yards a carry. Or all this investment into O-line is going to be for nothing.

Immobile QB with OT’s that are questionable in pass pro and limited receiving threats and no bell cow RB…not the most promising offensive build. But hey, the interior of the o-line should be great.

Agree Keenan Allen is not only not cooked, but is a mature route runner that will be where Dak needs him to be. Mingo will get a chance as well.Anyone thinking Cooper is an option just wasn't paying attention when they were babying him through no practice Wed.-Thursday schedules,he left under bad circumstances. It wasn't only the vac and trip out in the public to the Mavs game it was a poor attitude all around.

Way they completely ignored the draft to get wide receivers now the undrafted we get one undrafted wide receiver so far for some reason they haven't gone after Isaiah Bond which I think is stupid they will be probably making a trade for a wide receiver it just feels that way I mean why would they completely ignore it when they already admitted they need a wide receiver too and he's probably not on the roster..

So yes one of these dudes could be brought over as a free agent but I think they have something else working in the background i've never seen a team who needs a wide receiver go through seven rounds and completely ignore wide receiver when everybody in the world thought they were taking 1 in the 1st round and for sure in the top 3 rounds and they completely ignored the whole entire draft something's going on behind the scene nothing else makes sense.
You realize Bond may never play a down in this league.

Right now we have Lamb, Mingo/Tolbert and Campbell. Yes, they need an upgrade, but not terrible either if they can run the football better

I bet he does hey big Ray Lewis gets past all his problems how about all the second chances that guys like Alden Smith and Josh Gordon got in this league that's his name a few there's probably about 50 of them and I am not going to list them all here ray Lewis is part of a conspiracy of murder because he tried to cover up with his friends they didn't want to come forward and yet we have guys here that went to prison like Mike vick and then came right back in played how about Burris I know there's stuff all different but come on this dude was accused of something and yet he still played how didn't that cornerback Joseph for us boss man fats have some accusation being somewhere where someone got shot in a parking lot and nothing ever really happened about that you know people can accuse you of anything that doesn't make you guilty you think he's not going to get play it down by something that hasn't even been verified that it's true.

how did this DeShaun Watson had 27 accusations of sexual misconduct not even have any criminal charges filed against him and ends up getting $250 million and stays with the Cleveland Browns even though he sucked this dude is one of the worst players in the NFL making $250,000,000 and he's still around he was on the exemption list he's not hiding and yet somehow you think Isaiah Bon can't get in this league?.

Are we talking about the same league here of guys accused of all kinds of things and some of them it was true and yet they end up back in the NFLSo I'm figuring out how you think that's possible that he's not been fully arrested he turned himself in but he's claiming it was untrue so he hasn't had his day in court yet and you're saying that you're already saying he'll never play in the NFL?

I mean seriously some of these guys have went to prison got out and got back in the NFL and you tell me he does not going to get a chance?

We like our guys! Maybe Mingo will catch 20 balls and solve the WR2 problem.

:muttley:
And wide receiver two position may need to be bolstered but let's not keep selling Tolbert short he actually had a better year than a lot of the free agents had this year go look go compare the numbers to Amari Cooper and Keenan Allen and Cooper Cup and Michael Gallup and yes Debo Samuels and others even Brandon Cooks is on our own team the last two years their numbers are exactly the same except for 1ONE'S ascending and that would be Tolbert and one's descending and that would be Brandon Cookson he got how much money $8 million?

Jalen Tolbert quietly had a solid year he his like 12 yards for a cat seven touchdowns he had over 600 yards on a team that was like absolutely decimated by injuries and not going anywhere and mostly with a backup quarterback i'm not saying he is wide receiver too but he interpin can definitely hold down wide receiver 3 and 4 but if they need to in a pinch cover CD Lam when needed we do have CD Lam the top three wide receiver in the league this isn't 2018 where we're worried about wide receiver by committee you guys are acting like somehow we're the worst team in the league at wide receiver and whatnot but hey you can go Pat Washington on the back for bringing Debo Samuel had a Goodyear in three years and bringing you over Michael Gallup who quit last year and didn't have good numbers either...

I'm saying be careful where your judgment comes from if you really look at the numbers Tober is getting better every year and a lot of these free agents were not...

Not to say I don't think the Cowboys should go out and get one but you're exaggerating we don't need mingo to even be anywhere close to wide receiver too that would be Tolbert and that would be terpen maybe you're forgetting they're on this team.. When used properly and I'm betting this new coaching staff can use terpen like an actual weapon on offense and Tobert gets more targets they're a lot better contributors than you think mingo is a wide receiver 5 my man because Brooks is going to do better than him...

We like our guys! Maybe Mingo will catch 20 balls and solve the WR2 problem.

:muttley:
They clearly don't like their guys but mingos are 5th wide receiver let me give you the order

WR Lamb 75% of targets top 3 WR in te nfl
Tolbert_wr3 600+ yards 7 tds 12 YPC not bad Actually better than a lot of the free agents' you guys been spewing about..
Turpin- WR 3b - Not his fault that Mike Mccarthy is not creative and sucks because on another team this guys a weapon it's not about liking our guys these three guys can do that along with Jayden Blue out of the backfield catching passes and Ferguson not having the concussion and an injury he's going to get better this year and we're talking about Brooks is next and then Mingo we're talking about way down the line you want to keep bringing up mango and he's a developmental guy might end up being at best a Noah Brown once they develop him.

But let's be clear they're going to bring in other guys they've already got 5 UNDRAFTED free agents at wide receiver just signed guaranteed they're looking at players from the UFL and they're looking around on who's going to get cut or maybe make a trade that's going to happen but right now as we speak Mingo is the last hang on their mind....

Do y'all think Stephen would have been as butthurt/angry over the whole vaccine thing as Jerry? I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt on at least one thing.

Why hasn’t anyone else signed Coop? Whatever happened when he went to Buffalo seems to have turned the league off on him
