Free Agents Anthony Hitchens, Bobby Wagner & Jordan Hicks

Likely : Hitchens and Gifford
Want : Wagner
Happy with : Hicks
They don't even want to pay Gifford lololololol. Seriously though, if we are gonna clear all this cap space it has to be for Bobby W. It makes no sense to save all that cap space to sign bargain bin guys.

They will pay Gifford.

Just not a $2.4 million hit. He will be back for something like two years, $3 million. The savings are minimal. But it's Stephen

Pat Kerwin on Sirius XM radio just said Wagner with no doubt be interested in playing for coach Quinn
He already got his money and has no agent to sway him to the highest offer.

Just maybe he will agree to play for the peanuts we set aside for non-Jones draftees.

We can hope anyway. That's all this ever really is.

Take this with a massive grain of salt.

Players want to follow coaches. Makes sense. But at the end of the day, Wagner is going to go to the highest bidder.

They didn’t tender Gifford because he’s not worth 2.5 mil
They will probably sign him back though
He’s solid depth and good ST player

Cowboys linebacker group is mighty thin at the moment...

Which free agent old veteran LB should the Cowboys sign up for veteran help? For how long and how much?

let gregory walk. move parsons to DE for one year and sign Hicks and Wagner, along with Cox. if Hitchens is willing to sign for vet min, then sign him. Hitchens and Wagner bring championship experience.

Very true if a former manager reached out asking to work together again you would sure be flattered then comes the $$$ discussion.

Also worth considering that agents are constantly saying their clients have interest in playing in Dallas...if for no other reason than to increase their asking price.
