The spending spree won't be much if they overpay for Tank. I'm hoping we get one or two good DTs and a S. I'd like to keep Tank at a reasonable salary but I'm not confident that's gonna happen.

It's appearing unlikely that we get Tank for a reasonable salary.

Lots of people complain about the Crawford contract and it was considered to be a below market contract when it was signed. I would argue that the situation with Tank and Crawford were similar.

If you hate the Crawford contract you may end up really rueing the Tank contract, especially if we overpay him.

It looks like the Cowboys have the cap space to sign some free agents. How likely is it that they sign some deline help and some safety help. Some defensive linemen possibilities would be Frank Clark, Dee Ford, Sheldon Richardson, Ziggy Ansah, and Malcolm Brown, Some safety possibilities are Earl Thomas, Landon Collins, and Adrian Amos. Who are they likely to sign and who do you like? If they could get Frank Clark or Ziggy Ansah and either Sheldon Richardson or Malcolm Brown a long with a safety like Adrian Amos, that would make me happy. Is that possible?

Frank Clark, Dee Ford and Ansah will get big money.

Brown was a starter on the Super Bowl winner.

The Giants likely Franchise Collins or re-sign him before free agency.

The Cowboys coaches like their own Safeties agent more than fans. They likely won't see Amos as a big enough upgrade. It's ET or nothing at free Safety.. Maybe a draft pick.

They tried to acquire Richardson in the past. He signed in 2018 for 1 year, 8M but that was after a down year in 2017. I doubt they give a big contract to a player with character questions.
