That would probably work :crossed:

even those 3 are kinda wishful thinking.

Give me Furrey and we can let TO or Glenn go with Crayton moving up and Furrey in the slot.

Am I the only one that wants Derrick Dockery? That dude is flat out strong and completely stones the opposing man in front of him. I want Dockery, Justin Blaylock and Manuel Ramirez.

Tell ya what, Banta-Cain Tolly would not be a bad get for us either. He plays for NE so he knows the scheme. He's only going into his 5th year so he's young and can play out any long term contract. Last year, he posted a 5.5 sack season coming off injury. He might not be a bad guy to go after in FA.

This to me is an example of how NOT to think about FA. Furrey is a guy who owes everything to Martz for moving him back to WR and putting him in a position to be successful. That's the kind of guy who very rarely leaves his current team.

Plus you are violating several principle of FA - a) don't pay a guy after 1 good year and b) don't expect #3 WRs to become #2 or #2s to become #1s (as you want to do with Crayton).

Always someone tha get's cut. Interesting what Oakland will do with Porter and Moss although they aren't FA they are probably available.

neither Porter or Moss should be of any interest to us -- if Al Davis has a problem with someone you can bet that Jerry and Bill -- both of whom are friends of Davis -- aren't going to want him

I don't disagree with that. I am just saying it will be interesting what might happen with them not that they would be a good fit here. You know come draft time if they are still with Oakland that is all you will hear about.

I don't agree with this theory at all. I'm clearly a number 1 receiver. Thanks. Alvin Harper

;)

:laugh2: You are?

Or maybe you are superbowl MVP Larry Brown.:p:

If you change this too.. (I will agree)

Joe Thomas OT (draft high first round)
Move Flozell Adams to OG (where he will make the probowl)
Adalius Thomas opposite Ware (or)
Freeney OLB opposite Ware if you can't get Thomas

Not Grant. I think Watkins will be better than Grant next year and Grant's production slid last year anyhow.

Flozell Adams would be a better guard by far than anyone on that list. He just can't protect against speed rushers very well anymore. He can crush anyone in a straight rush.

I like freeney but I am saying he is off limits on my wish list because I don't think we have a chance to get him. I don't see indy letting him go.
