I was never on that wagon, keep Free is feasible. He is not the best for sure but keep the man if able.

I think that really had more to do with the fact the opposing team was not afraid of weeden.

I've been critical of frees play in the past, but the guy has stepped up his game especially in the run game. I saw him maul his man last night on a run play to his side of the field, then sprint downfield to help Murray up after about an 8 yard gain . Found myself nodding in approval

Free really had played outstanding football. I see a lot of people dismissing him because they just don't like him. But Free has been a pro taking the pay cut and playing very well. We know the young guys look up to him on the line and I think that speaks volumes about Free. One thing I noted during camp is he looked trimmed down and stronger. He must have put in some work in his core over the offseason and it's paying off now
