From Jason Garrett to Mike McCarthy to Brian Schottenheimer, there is one massive consistency

Accountability starts at the top. If you think any coach we’ve had since Parcells has any real power in the building you’re naive. The “country club” allegations have been on going for 20 years now, and there’s only been 1 constant

Sure, but is it just by chance that the Cowboys are consistently one of the most penalized teams? Or perhaps the conspiracy isn't so much a conspiracy at all, and the refs are out to get us... (I'm playing devil's advocate).
I’m not even sure if it’s a conspiracy. I think the Cowboys play more prime time games then anyone and thus the officiating crew is calling more in those games then they are others. I’m interested in seeing the difference in penalties in our prime time games vs our 12 noon games.

It’s not about country club when it comes to holding calls. I get the culture here sucks and it for sure needs some blame but not for holding calls. I watch Philly hold and false start every play with no call

I think that's a huge part of it, actually. Noon games have to stay in the broadcast "window" and it sure seems like fewer penalties are called then. Late games and primetime games don't have the same concern and seem to have more penalties on both team called.

We've been top of the penalty stats for 25 years at least. Some of it is Jones culture, but some is also ref culture. Most refs are conditioned to throw more flags against Dallas than Green Bay or Pittsburgh for example.
Yes we’ve had bad penalty stats for years. But the packers have been close to us. The refs aren’t as “biased” as it may feel.

In 2024, the Cowboys had 128 accepted penalties called; the pack had 120. We averaged 7.5 penalties a game, and the pack 7.0 So less than one penalty a game difference.

In 2025 through 16 games, we have 120 accepted penalties; the packers have only played 15 games so far and have 96 accepted penalties. We avg again, 7,5 penalties a game; GB has avg 6.4 so about 1 penalty a game difference.

I’m not talking about not getting the job done..

Or the playoff drought….

I’m talking about the maddening consistency, the cancer deep within …

We again are the leader in penalties

11 penalties a game is par for the course we consistently play against ourselves and lose.

That’s a sign of stupidity that’s a sign of ignorance. It’s a sign of laziness. It’s a sign of fatness.

It’s a sign of bad ownership bad general manager ship, bad leadership, bad coach coaching bad head coach coaching.

It’s a sign of low IQ
The ending fooled me.....I thought the end would have "It's Dak's fault".......my bad.

More good? This team was eliminated from the playoffs and end the season with a sub 500 win percentage with Dak. League leader in penalties. Terrible losses at home. Stop with the Shottenheimer support. There is a reason no one else would hire him.
If you attack Eberflus I can understand that. People were throwing flowers at him after mid-season

They do and it’s all the games I watch. Those Sunday night games seem to drag. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy but I do think it’s the curse of playing so many prime time games but I don’t know how to change that because Cowboys good or bad are a draw.

It is a sign of lack of discipline
The HC is a puppet and can’t enforce discipline
Thats it

The last 3 coach hires also have another thing in common. They wont stand up to Jerry and will submit to his demands
