From Peter King still sticking with Zeke like in his mock draft

Earl Thomas was pick at #14, & is overall a better safety and player
Value for a safety can be obtained much below the #4 pick.

Romo was undrafted while Geno Smith was a first rounder. That argument holds no water.

How much butthurt, in PSI, will there be if Elliot isn't the pick?

Where were all these guys suggesting that we were interested in aggressively moving up in the first round to snag Claiborne? How about Frederick? How many of these guys thought we were taking him in the first round? Once again, I'm waiting to hear what history you're relying on to suggest that these guys know **** from Shinola? And I said nothing about Peter King, he doesn't know jack **** either. But you have suggested that the Cowboys front office is "nearing a consensus," which is really...curious.

If you have a differing opinion, by all means share it. That's what this forum is for.

I'm presenting the information I'm seeing.

Or are you *****ing simply to *****?

He's not my first choice and I have been outspoken against the move.

But, as a fan, if he's the pick, I'm disagreeing with it but hoping for the best. While I see plenty of negatives to it, I'm also not blinded to the positives either.

Haha I said butthutt.

Yeah, pretty much how I see it. I don't hate EE I just think it's funny how crazy some people are about it, especially the ones calling him Emmitt.

Oh, you're under the impression I haven't shared my opinion? My opinion is that anyone who thinks that the noise coming out of Valley Ranch is an indication that the team has come to a consensus on who they're picking and that they have decided to share it with the masses is incredibly naive. I mean, shaking my head level of naive. How's that?

Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

You're railing against any consensus talk, but yet showing nothing to dispute it?

If you have other information that counters or disputes it, please share it. And, by all means, if and when what you present comes to fruition, feel free to gloat. Conversely, I think that if what's been presented does happen, you'll merely shrug your shoulders and try to hide out until it blows over.

Here was his next point which I found interesting
-------
4. Why the hesitation on Jalen Ramsey? Two teams mentioned to me either Ramsey’s lack of productivity or his lack of plays made at Florida State, where he had just two interceptions in his final 40 college games. And one team—which admittedly loves Ramsey—told me its biggest hesitation is that shutdown corners get some interceptions and don’t get shuttled back to safety (Ramsey started games at safety for FSU). In my opinion, teams are overthinking Ramsey, something that happens when you have forever to prepare for the draft. He’s a very good tackler, a good physical corner at the line, and big enough at 6-1¼ to line up against the big receivers almost every team has.

To me you cannot go wrong with Elliott or Ramsey... Ramsey is PROBABLY rated higher on most boards including Dallas's however I think San Diego will take Ramsey therefore leaving Elliott for us to snatch at 4.

You must be teeming with excitement that the Cowboys may be looking to trade up for a QB. I'm right there with you with Lynch.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Anybody but Connor Cook. I just don't see the appeal in him. I'd rather have Prescott or Hackenberg.
