actually, I don't think that is the same, I disagree...
I believe your quarterback should be able to play both, he's the game manager but when needed and when called upon they can open up the playbook take the reins off the offense and go toe to toe and a high scoring game like we saw with the Seahawks...
you have to do both as a quarterback and recognize when not to take a risk that's called game management both from the head coach the play caller and the quarterback have to be on the same page on when it's worth the risk to just go outside the box and just throw it all out or to play a game where you try to manage the score and count on your defense and the run game and not do something stupid....
There are some quarterbacks that only can play aggressive and all they know is throwing the deep ball and going after scores they don't know how to contain themselves and manage the game there's nothing wrong with being called the game manager but a bus driver that's a player like Cooper rush who could do nothing but hope to be in cruise control and all you have to do is make a decision of keeping his hands on the wheel while the rest of the team plays elite around them, that's a true bus driver, don't make a mistake let the rest of the team win but in many cases you need a quarterback like Prescott a top ten quarterback and this year he's playing like a top five quarterback to actually be able to win in any way you being called upon to do so...
There are many games last year after Prescott came back and many games this year there's no way a quarterback like Cooper Rush could win those games., we have not had a consistent strong run game or a consistent offensive line and the defense at times are getting gashed and now we had to ask the quarterback to go out and win some games without all that Cooper rush could not do that game managers can, bus drivers cannot
in my opinion there's a big difference...
