FS1:The Cowboys are different, but are we going to get the same results?

After 7 years I think we've seen a big pool of his work to judge him and the word LEMON comes to mind.
No, I don't believe in Santa and Dak ain't changing as when it counts the most he will wet the bed again and again.
Yes, I feel for the other players who give 110% out there (esp our defense) all simply wasted away due to inept leadership and quality at QB.
No amount of talent can carry this Pig to the Superbowl.......
I have seen some ugly pigs transform in to lovely pigs that can drive busses.
That would actually make a great series for viewing.

I don't believe in Dak, but Moore's play-calling was detrimental to the team. The right play-calling could be enough to help the team and play to Dak's strengths if he can just get out of his own head and stop being his own worst enemy.

Moore absolutely didn't call things based on Dak's strengths or to help the defense at all. He ignored the important stat of TOP in big games.
Yep, I think Dak is better suited to more instant release sped up process.... to me his struggles are when he needs routes to develop and anxiety takes hold when seperation is limited.
It may suit the YAC receivers Cooks, CeeDee and Pollard whilst using Schoon as to check down (hearing he gets open, but limited YAC value).

And he will proceed to shut nobody up because he doesn’t posses the talent or skill to do so.
Yet you continue on your journey, even though you know that Dak is going to be the starting QB for this Cowboys franchise for very much of the foreseeable future. correct?
Are you willing to wager that a more appropriate utilization of talent in a scheme that better fits what Dak can do ,,, better.
Maybe add in some YAC with hands, better route designs, scheme understanding.
This offense has the ability to get really quick, really fast.

Keeping chasing that tail.
This is what I don’t get.

Why defend a bum you don’t really believe in? Do you believe you’re required by the star on his helmet?

Not a single one of you Dak supporters are willing to put your account on the line for him. But you’re more than willing to speak up to fans that openly don’t believe in him and are willing to put their account on the line for it.

It looks really fake, ya know? Like you’re just doing as your told instead of forming your own opinions.

You are dillusional
Says the person that thinks changing a few things on the offense is going to manifest talent in a QB where none exists.

Yeah. I’m delusional. Meanwhile when Dak fails again you’ll be left wondering what went wrong and next off season thinking this will be the year Dak figures it all out. We just need a few more coaches that are holding him back gone and we’ll be set, right?

A good coach takes the talent at hand and transcends it.
Can we give MM and Schott a chance first, is that asking too much for a little optimism?

They have no shot when Dak is their QB.

Farve or Rodgers isn’t walking through those doors to make McCarthy look good.

You’ll say the same about the next coach when the problem is Dak.

Yep…

Dak can’t carry the team and the team can’t carry Dak.

I’d really like for Dallas to try for Derrick Henry.

I just hope the team can carry dak better this year. I don't expect much from him. I just hope the other players step up and carry him far this year.
Yes, that is what teammates do.
But understandable to say, based on his INT's, but we will see if this 30% change can help cut those down.

There were issues with the play calling. Specifically:
  • To many comeback routes
  • To many option routes
  • To few play action plays
  • Too few pick plays
  • An inept screen pass game
IMO all Dak’s career he’d been hesitant to throw the ball until he sees someone open which meant good ball security but maybe leaving throws on the table.

Suddenly in 2022 he’s slinging it around all over the place and timing/chemistry was off. It was okay when he had time but a bit of extra pressure (like against the 49ers) and the wheels fell off. The result was a huge number of interceptions.
