Aaron Rodgers is the new Tom Brady. On the injury report for 17 weeks and the playoffs.
And he limps around like he's dying, then spins out of a sack and takes off on a 10 yard scramble at a full sprint.

Then we get to hear Joe Buck

"Oh my goodness! Aaron Rod-guhs does it again! He couldn't even put his shirt on or tie his shoe laces, but he has the Packers in front! What a warrior!"

He is apparently his own doctor as well. He was the one who told reporters he suffered a "neck stinger". The rest of the injuries were reported by head coaches and team officials. Hmm.

It's that time of the year when virtually every starter and many backups as well have either serious injuries or limitations that make their jobs anywhere from impossible to difficult. Dallas and virtually every other team bearing intentions of competing in the playoffs will be faced with making the best of things relative to their injuries. Let's hope our Cowboys will be able to collectively compete in a reasonably healthy state.

Well you could sit them all the next 2 games, and then in 1st playoff game ,1st qtr, any one of them could get hurt or knocked out.
Same thing if you only play them a qtr in the next 2.

It is risky, but better to play them in a normal fashion, play to win, and just hope no one gets hurt.
If you have good bkup's . wouldnt hurt to pull certain players after 1 half.

Carr is a small player, and he takes risks, holds ball too long, and he got hurt, Mariota is skinny guy, and Dak is bigger and more
sturdy built.

We need Dez to play like D Hopkins for the Texans.....catch then go down. Hopkins catches and immediately makes a business decision. We don't need Dez fighting for extra yardage outside of reaching for the chains, but carefully.
I wish that Dez could play like Hopkins. He had 111 catches for over 1500 yards last season and he was only 23.

It is pretty simple. Pull players at halftime. That way they stay sharp and get light workload.

That's good coach talk, but if Tyron goes down, Cleery? I think prudent rest of semi-injured players might be on order.
Next man up, this is football. I'd rather risk injury than risk a loss because we're not mentally ready to play in the playoffs.

Essentially treat them like Preseason games 2 and 1.

I love the idea that a guy like Tank Lawrence and Mo Claiborne can get nearly 4-5 weeks of "rest" for their injuries to ensure they come back strong.

Saying "I got a stinger" is not playing doctor.

You can get your "edge" back in the course of a game if for some reason you lose it. You can't fix a busted fibia until next season.

That's my feeling too but we're in the minority. I think Red agrees with the majority on here and will play our starters quite a bit. We shall see.

Of I agree. But if giving Tyron another week to rehab gives him a better shot at playing all the playoff games, we'd be stupid not to let him rest.

I'd rather have Dak running for his life against the Lions or Eagles the next two weeks than in the NFC Championship game because we didn't give Smith an extra week of rest.

Dez has been hurt the last two years, played with journeymen last year....and still no love?

We have a Tony Romo sitting on the bench.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't you the guy that has been saying Romo is a choker for years?

So if Romo is a choker and cant get it done in the playoffs as you have claimed, how would he being available to come off the bench help us any?

It's either that or Sanchez. As long as he's on the active roster, he's a go.
