Lets say someone has a warranty on a Nintendo Wii and wants to exchange it. But they already spent like $120 on downloadable software for it.

Can Toys "R" Us take those downloaded games out of the old Wii and put them into a new one or can they just repair the broken one? Or...

I'm sure you can find a local electrician who could fix the problem.

Whoever you downloaded it from doesn't have a record of it? You should be able to re-download it to the new machine. It's like iTunes and an iPod. You get a new one and download all your music to the new one.

I bought a Wii points card. You scratch a code off the back and type the code in and you get to download games. Im assuming all the information is somewhere on the hard drive or w/e? Like I said, the machine isnt completely jacked.

Time to move on. She dead and isn't coming back. :muttley:

I would assume it keeps a record of what you have paid for/downloaded in your wii account, and you can re-download everything when you get your new wii hooked up, atleast that's how xbox works(if you erase something on your xbox HD you can re-download it anytime because it keeps a record on your live acct.)
