So weird, he was on Joey Diaz's podcast recently (comedian). He made note that though he was a great impressionist, it hindered his ability to do a good standup set bc the audience blanked him out until another impression came along. It caused his act to get stale and him become lazy, etc. Just thought it was an interesting tidbit I wouldn't have thought of seeing him work otherwise.
I liked that they really weren't trying to hurt each other. I thought the dog wasn't all that happy, but then the tail started going. It's posture wasn't serious at all. More like the puppy "I KILL YOU!"
I had a love/hate reaction for the video. I love the prank but dislike the use of the roman candle. Sure, family and good friends never intend to permanently injured someone's eyes. No one hopes a smoldering ember gets caught on a curtain, catches fire and burns down someone's apartment or house.
Then again, I could be giving fireworks a bad rap. Who knows? Someone could have slipped and broken their ankle instead.
