I'm almost positive this question has been brought up before...but who are the future hall of famers on this team?

1. Jason Witten
2. Demarcus Ware
3. Tony Romo (if he wins 1 or even 2 Super Bowls)
4. Felix Jones
5. Maybe even Leonard Davis if he continues his dominance at guard...extremely underrated at his position

If things continue at their current rate:

Jason Witten and DeMarcus Ware

- Unless the Cowboys win a championship (or some championships) or become true contenders perennially, as in make or win a few NFC championships, Tony Romo has no shot. He started kinda late to get in as a pure stats guy, so he has to take the Kurt Warner route.

- Leonard Davis doesn't stand much of a chance because he's still got a little bit of that bust stigma to him. True enough, he's been good these last two years, but people haven't forgotten that he was a top 2 pick that washed out of Arizona. Fair or unfair, that's the case I think.

- A little too early to make any predictions about Felix Jones.

1. Ware
2. Witten
3. Buehler

Romo is Danny White right now. Unless he wins when it counts, he gets no props.
As for the o-line, meh..

Witten and Ware are the only ones I can see making it right now. If Romo had started as a rookie then maybe but as it stands he may have gotten started too late to serioously impress the voters.

Felix Jones hasn't even started a game and he's a future hall of famer?

The NFL Hall of Fame is notoriously difficult to get in.

If the question is "Who is a shoe-in to get into the Hall of Fame on this current team", then the answer is zero.

If the question is "Who has the talent and a proven track record to get into the Hall of Fame on this current team", I would say:
Jason Witten
Demarcus Ware

if Tony Romo wins at least 1 Super Bowl and continues to put up huge numbers in the Regular Season, he will get in.

At this point - Witten if he strings a few more good seasons together.
Ware needs about 5 more seasons like last season to be in the running.
Other than that - no one else.

Felix has the talent, I think, but longevity has a large factor in those type of decisions. Also, Felix is going to have to share a lot therefore he won't get the sheer number of touches needed to garner the numbers for the hall. Timing is everything. If Felix had come 4 years earlier we could seriously be having this conversation.

Nowhere near D White status. DW took us to 3 NFC championships and won big playoff games. Romo hasent won a Playoff game or for that matter cant even put together a good DEC. Not that im down on Romo, I just dont like the Danny bashing

Not bashing Danny at all. Just pointing out he gets no respect for the work he has done.

It is always tricky when you have to use "IF" when forecasting the future. "IF" Witten continues to play at the same level for several more years he will be a HoFer. That "IF" is not too much of a stretch, but when the "IF" is tied to winning Superbowls it becomes a big leap.

I remember people saying "IF" he wins one or two superbowls when talking about Drew Bledsoes chances of getting in the HoF. Getting to and winning the Superbowls is contingent on many things that one single player cannot always control. They have much more control of playing at a high individual level. Romo has more control of producing stats than he does of winning a superbowl. That makes that "IF" of winning a Superbowl a lot harder to attain. Not impossible, just harder.

Barring near-term injuries, Witten and Ware are shoe-ins.

Barring injuries and continue played at the level they have been Witten and Ware are the only locks, I'd say.

Romo might be talked about as a lock in a few years if he continues to put up the numbers he has and he gets at least 1 Superbowl win.

Funny, ain't it, how he could put up numbers like this for the next several years and he won't be in without that Superbowl ring and yet Witten and Ware could continue to put up their numbers, never win a ring, and they'd still get in.

I'm hoping he and the whole team stop treating December like it's the preseason.

Romo's on pace to finish near the top of the all-time, most proficient QB list, if he does, and wins a Super Bowl, I can see him making it

Ware and Witten are shoe-ins IMO
