I would say Dallas has a realistic shot at a guy like Anthony Davis from Rutgers.

They need to address the offensive line... LG is a concern too, Kosier gets pushed around too much for my liking! LT and LG are big concerns. Doug Free is a nice fit at RT in my opinion.

I think LT is set. Free is more of an LT than RT. RT you need a mauler, Free is more of good feet, great pass blocking type of player. He was doing pretty well one on one on Allen, after initially getting help. If Columbo could have held his end up, I think Romo had a chance. But seemed like Kosier started breaking down too.

Ideally we can get an OG/RT type in this draft. Someone with a bit of versatility.

Plus, we need one more C/OG type player, IMO.

The future LT is Doug Free, case closed.

We do need a RT and LG though.

I don't think he's starting material anyway...

They really seemed to like him before his injury.

In fact, they didn't IR him until right at the end because they thought he could possibly help. He's got very good size and balance and feet for a big man - at least that's what the coaching staff said.

Reports were they really like Brewster.

My guess would be that he is built more like a Guard - not sure if they think he is the future LG, though. He is like one of those tweener types. If a guy can play Tackle, you usually put him at Tackle since they are harder to find.

I would prefer Mike Iupati, the guard from Idaho. He's had over 800 snaps in his career and hasn't given up one sack.

He would be an excellent choice for LG.

I'd prefer to draft a top OG/C than reach for an OT if that is way the draft falls. Unless we are sure Flo is gone, and/or Doug Free can't gain a bit more strength and be a LT in another year, I think we need to be careful taking the 4th or 5th OT on the draft board, especially if a STUD guard or centre is there.

Right now I think you play the percentages and try and hit on the stud guys instead of hope the remaining LT on draft boards can get it done. Flo is still pretty good and Free has some promise.

Free can play LT now. He was better than Flo was against Allen - what more do you people need to see. He was better than Colombo yet all you folks wanted Colombo back in there because he is "nasty". Nasty is all the bruises on Romo from Edwards planting him into the turf.

Best case scenario, we find a starter at RT - either Brewster or draft and put Free at LT.

Worst case scenario, no one worthy is found and we keep Flo at LT and put Free at RT.

There is no reason to keep Colombo on this team anymore. He is too expensive to be a backup. He gives up too much pressure on a routine basis. He is regressing significantly from his form in 2006-8. I suspect this last ankle injury robbed him of some quickness he couldn't afford to lose.

why do we need a RT?.colombo will be back to full fitness and free can back him up.Flo will not last the whole season and we shouldnt depend on him at all.lets move up and draft a stud LT.

That's pretty impressive.
