The offense is entirely different with Noodles at QB. He cannot throw the intermediate ins and outs that are Dakota's staple. He likes to throw the ball up for grabs. Not such a big deal with Dez and Witten but the the second string cannot handle it. Actually feel better about him.

The starting OL and DL were awful. The DTs were atrocious. Th DE were making the QB step up but could not get off blocks.

The secondary wool be maligned but the lack of speed with Lotuleiei, Wilber, and Wilson opened up the middle of the field. Wilson was just bad.

Gaithers and Smith won't clear waivers.

Brice Butler is going to get paid next year if he keeps this up.

Rush is the best QB prospect we have had since Tanney.

I will have my normal writeup this weekend after I get to watch the game again and with scrutiny.

Agreed, although I give Wilber a pass here bc he's didn't stand out much which is kinda his M.O. I wasn't expecting much from Lutoleiei, but Wilson looked a step behind and was unimpressive. The Legend of 'RICO Gathers' continues, Rod smith WILL be put 3rd string RB, and Butler is starting to worry Terrance Williams whether he wants to admit it or not. and Rush was surprising good.

It's hard to watch these games without becoming horrified at the three ring circus on display. I have to remind myself that there's a cumulative effect having that many wannabes on the field together just trying to learn their assignments.

Not putting Butler down but he needs to perform against starters not backups. I think he is healthy and been in the system long enough he feels more comfortable with the playbook. It will help out team tremendous if Butler can make those plays in regular season.

Dez, Beasley, Switzer, Zeke, Butler and Williams would be tough to defend

No doubt about it but he was absolutely dominant against the second teamers.

Lol at analysis after the HOF game.

This is the time when I get a feel for the roster and the direction the team is going to take going into the season. Perhaps you are not interested in how Woods or Carrell perform but I find it extremely interesting.

Once the roster set in the coaches are working more on game plans than they are on player development it becomes a lot less interesting to me.

The analysis from that point should be on opponents and matchups not on who the team is because I already have a good feeling for that after the preseason and a game or two.

Okay, fair enough.

You forgot to mention that Ivey was prototyping the new skate cleats.
