The problem as I see it is that everything Kitna said at the time was true. James and Newman were getting beat left and right. The entire defense was playing soft and giving up big plays all day. He didn't need to say it to the press because everyone who watched the game could see it. He probably should apologize one on one to those guys but only for naming names to the press, not for saying how bad the D was playing because that part was true.
I Thought the whole thing was a joke and it just showed what kind of winey *****es we have on this team. I was actually disappointed Kitna apoligized. He shouldn't have had to apoligize for speaking the truth. Newman and James should have displayed their anger on the field, which they didn't.
Toughen up pansies, if you don't want to be criticised, then execute on the field.
