I think guys in the NFL understand trash talk, yes Kitna took a jab at James and Newman I seriously doubt they will think less of him or hold a grudge

Now that Kitna is a Cowboy... if Brady and Newman are smart they would ask for what he saw when playing against them. I know I would.

I think much of it was just talk on Kitna part. Brady I felt had a very good season last year and Newman when healthy I think it one of the top CB out there.

Those quotes came from Parcells' end times here when we played a 43 for some reason, so I doubt any of it would be applicable now.

Did Owens EVER Apologize for the Star incident? I don't recall that ever happening & that SHOULD HAVE been the 1st thing he did once he joined the Cowboys.

Of course it was trash talk but imo kitna was right with it. James had a bad season everybody was questioning his skills that time.

And Newman... i saw the last few games he played and watched im closely especially because of his comment about ballin'. This season he was no where near of being a good shutdown cornerback. Better or worse then Trufant i don't know but Kitna is right when he was questioning his skills.

I was at that game and I couldn't wait for Brady (or anybody) to put Kitna on his arse. I'm not sure the Cowboys even touched him, but the ending was otherwordly. It was like an outerbody experience for me. We are a .500 team since that moment and Kitna is now a Cowboy. Go figure.

The problem as I see it is that everything Kitna said at the time was true. James and Newman were getting beat left and right. The entire defense was playing soft and giving up big plays all day. He didn't need to say it to the press because everyone who watched the game could see it. He probably should apologize one on one to those guys but only for naming names to the press, not for saying how bad the D was playing because that part was true.

I Thought the whole thing was a joke and it just showed what kind of winey *****es we have on this team. I was actually disappointed Kitna apoligized. He shouldn't have had to apoligize for speaking the truth. Newman and James should have displayed their anger on the field, which they didn't.

Toughen up pansies, if you don't want to be criticised, then execute on the field.
