FWST Blog: Cornerback battle

One of the few position battles going on in training camp is at right cornerback between Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick. Jenkins got the call first with the first unit when the Cowboys started full-on drills this morning. Scandrick then took over with the first unit during the second half of the drills.

This should be one of the fun battles to follow as both young guys look to make a solid impression. Coming into camp, the common theory was that Jenkins has a slight lead. But, that's what training camp is for.

I still really like Scandrick to play that slot position. It's nice to have two young guys. I just hope Jenkins can show some of the aggressiveness that Scandrick showed us last year.

I thought you were basing it on this thread which mentions only that they are competing.

Again, I thought since the post was in this thread, it would reference what was in the opening post. The opening post only mentions there is competition, not that one or the other is looking better.
