FWST Blog: Ellis: Both coaches and players should be concerned about jobs

Continually putting Ellis out into coverage is not his fault. Blame the coaches for putting a square peg into a round hole 15 times a game.

I don't get how you can turn that quote into Ellis directly saying the Coaches should be worried about their job.

Yes, he's saying everyone should be worried, but he's not specifically calling out the coaches. How do they write that headline?
I tried to have the thread title reflect the actual quote by Ellis. Sorry if I didn't get it close enough.

Didn't realize that was your headline. I thought that was the blog writer's headline. No worries.

I agree with Ellis and that everyone should be worried about their jobs. I just don't see that as him calling out the coaches specifically.

I'm splitting hairs. ;)

It is funny how the media runs to Ellis. He is the last person I would ask in order to get the psychological measure of the team. Benching Ellis and starting Spencer is the first thing I would do with the defense when Spencer comes back. Having Spencer covering kicks coming off a knee scope is mind- boggling.

They ran at Ellis all day long. He has 2 sacks this year. He jumped offsides on 2 down and 8. Plus, he has flagged in the endzone on pass defense.

Greg Ellis and Flozell Adams are big sources of frustration.
