FWST: BUCK and SCRUGGS: Should the Cowboys take a chance on Ricky Williams?

Ricky Williams would be the 3rd best RB on this team (if he even made the roster)..

By what magical criteria? He averaged 4.4 ypc in 2005 behind some of the worst run blocking I have EVER seen from an offensive line, and had 4 runs of 20+ yards. Granted, our run-blocking was nothing to write home about, but Julius didn't outperform Williams.

He may have deteriorated in a year, but aside from that speculation your blanket statement holds no water.

This was the other blurb in that same article...

Did Bill Parcells completely miss the boat on Drew Bledsoe?

NEW DAWG: Yes. And don’t forget Vinny “He Can Make All the Throws” Testaverde. And Stephen Peterman, Jacob Rogers, Marco Rivera, Al Johnson, etc., etc.

BUCK: Parcells got Tony Romo right. Big Bill also was right-on about Drew Henson being all wrong. I do believe (ahem) we have short memories. As for Bledsoe ... he was a class act who didn’t deserve the way it turned out for him in New England or Dallas. But, no, Big Bill didn’t miss the boat.

Another "grass is always greener" thread .....

Thats just what we need with the new commisioner coming down hard on troublemakers ..... ...... a lazy pot smoking malcontent .....

Any idea what that even means?

Apparently "New Dawg" (seriously....keeping nicknames involving the word "Dawg" past my age or even before is pretty pathetic. Newy Scruggs and Randy Jackson, you're on notice.) knows what the question means. It meant "list everything Parcells failed at while he was here."

Buck apparently just started rambling about anything. Bledsoe didn't "deserve" the way it turned out?
