Can someone explain what the doors are for, I don't really get it. Why are they there? Why would they be closed and why open? I thought the glass was supposed to be a great way to reflect sound back onto the field?Arch Stanton;2948115 said:The retractable doors, 120 feet high by 180 feet wide, provide a gateway from the outdoor plazas to the indoor plazas, about 180,000 square feet on three levels where approximately 30,000 fans who purchased a $29 standing-room-only Party Pass, according to Cowboys spokesman Brett Daniels, will watch Sunday’s game.

Same concept as a retractable roof, taken to a new level.Skinsmaniac;2948388 said:Can someone explain what the doors are for, I don't really get it. Why are they there? Why would they be closed and why open? I thought the glass was supposed to be a great way to reflect sound back onto the field?

Gotcha. Thanks.Ozzu;2948393 said:Supposedly they did it so that it lets a lot of natural light in. It gives the place an outdoor feel even when it's closed up. Also, when they're open, supposedly it lets a nice breeze through so everyone stays cool.
