FWST: Michael Hungry For More Work - Will Get It

Yeah... Can't wait to see our third string RB that Seattle basically kicked to the curb. Smh.

ps. Randles college highlights look better

He will have a better chance to prove himself now that Collins has replaced an injured Leary and a competent Qb at the helm.

Is it just me or does it seem like we have been waiting for Michael to get more carries for many weeks?

After only 52 carries in two seasons in Seattle and two attempts in his first five games in Dallas, the Cowboys plan a bigger role for Michael this week against the New York Giants. It gives the former Texas A&M standout his best chance to show what he can do.

Hope this kid can really do something and be a punisher and help get them back to an effective running game that has some toughness to it.

I cant help but think this kid must be lacking something considering Seattle let him go for next to nothing and for whatever reason he never got many carries with them, Thomas Rawls (undrafted rookie) already has 65 carries after 7 games in Seattle (for 366 yards/5.6 per).

Hopefully the reasons turn out to be cap related and the lack of carries due to a stacked backfield in front of him the past 2 seasons but I'm skeptical thats all there is to it.

I'd really like to see him get a lot of carries so he can sink or swim

I feel your fire. I have a very good feeling about this weekend. It should be fun.

I really hope your feeling is right. I am rooting hard for this guy too because I think as of right now between him and the defense it is the only way to save this season.

eat that leftover meat on that bone CMIKE and eat that bone marrow! give the bones to j.randle. wash it down with some local brew while you're at it.

Just give him the load already and see what happens! The stupid pitch count crap is worthless. It's so obvious as well. Randle gets the first drive or two then we trot out Dmac. The dude is young and hasn't done anything since PS. Give him the load with a little Randle sprinkled in here and there like last year and lets roll!

I understand the pitch count philosophy for Randle and DMC since they've proven that they're only good in very short spurts and get worse the more they get carries.

Meanwhile, RB's like Lynch, Rawls, DeMarco, etc get better as the game goes on and they're able to abuse the defense.

Feed him the rock and see what he can do. If we continue this 1-5 carry BS then we might as well have not brought him in at all because it's a complete waste.

That's what Murray used to do.. he used to want the carries. He wasn't afraid of any defense. The oline feeds off of that. We need these type of players and Cmike doing that little gesture...well its what we need, however small it is.
I agree. It's the philosophy and mentality that they were built for. Why the coaching staff is so insistent on limiting that and going with the RBs who tire far too easily is an absolute mystery to me.

So, what do you guys think, probably 4 carries max before we try to shove the load onto McFadden...again?

All the while Randle is on the sideline done for the day because he's too tired after taking a carry for a little over 10 yards.

I might punch a wall if dude ends up with 4 carries. I'm hoping for 10 to 15.

Get your gloves ready bro cant see this staff switching it up and giving him a bunch of carries. After all the whispers we heard this last week and both JG and SL have seemed to temper that.

Maybe all that talk was to motivate that below average RB who starts for the club.
