The offense didn't score more points then they did. They are as much to blame as our defense. I remember people earlier in the season were saying yards don't equate into points. It doesn't matter how many yards you put up in the game if you can't score.

Let me tell you something. If you can't win games by putting up 24 points on offense then the Cowboys are in more trouble then we think.

Its sad but yeah it is also indeed hilarious as well. :laugh2:

I don't think it's sad or funny.

Facts about RW
We traded for him
He's supposed to be our #1 WR
He has yet to come up big for us in a big spot.
He isn't living up to his salary or his trade or his draft pick.
He comes up big in losing efforts.
Pretty his play has no bearing on this offense whatsoever.
He gets paid to much we traded to much for him.
He's ineffective and isn't needed.

That sums up my feelings about RW maybe some of it was lost in how it comes across. But if you take his salary into account the trade. Then look at his production. Look at him coming up big in losing efforts. Then look at his total overall ineffectiveness it leaves you wanting more. At least for me. So no I'm not happy with 6 catches 60 yards and 2 TD's in a losing effort.

Yeah I know how long were those TD catches? 1st and 3 quarter TD's isn't showing up when it counts..... and Austins TD was fluff. So from his 3rd quarter TD till when Austin scored where are either these guys making plays at?
WG. Get the back of your hand ready. You know I deserve to be slapped for continuing this, BUT...

DaBoys4Life, Williams caught two touchdowns of four and five yards. Pray tell, please tell me the relevancy of their length?

That joe schmoe could of made those TD' catches. It's kind of like how when people went crazy over the amount of TD's barber used to have. Or like when the bUs was only school on one yard TD runs.

Actually, I was reading another blog on DMN awhile back expressing concern about Brooking.

IIRC, they were saying that he was not playing badly, but he wasn't doing the same things as he was at the beginning of the season.
Hmm...could be he's tired given his age...or an undisclosed, minor injury...or a journalist looking for something that isn't there.

In the previous game he had 6 tackles and 3 assists. Against the Skins he had 4 tackles, 4 assists and a sack. I don't know, it doesn't sound that bad to me. Heck, against the Giants in week 2, he only had 2 tackles, so I'm not sure where they're getting this stuff from.

Yea because scoring 1 yard td's is so easy in the NFL. Its why the Giants are one of the worst teams in the redzone. Clearly you don't watch much football because you see every week teams failing to convert on 4th and 1 at the goal line. I saw it a couple of times in the Falcons Eagles game. You make football sound so easy.

I'm not concerned that Spencer couldn't run down Jacobs. The guy runs a 4.6 and beat him.

I am still amazed by that play. Saw the game again last night of NFLN and had two really good replays of the Jacobs TD run from close up and behind. Not only was Sensabaugh blatantly held, he was pushed from behind too. No call.
By the way Spencer did catch Jacobs at the end after having to run around where Sensabaugh was being held and pushed.:(

They were easy because he did his job as it should have been done. Nothing easy about it, DB do not have to cover as much ground around the endzone.

Seems like your problem is with Jerry and not Roy. Take it up with Jerry for trading and bringing in his contract. I don't care about the money. Its not mine its Jerry's. I don't care about the draft picks. We can't take the trade back. I'm living in the present and right now Roy and Romo seem to be getting on the same page. That's all I care about. I don't care how much money he's getting paid or any of that other stuff that holds no significance.

Translation

It's not the touchdowns which matter. It's the difficulty of the touchdowns.

What's my comment?

Beats me. I keep reading it over and over again with the theme to The Nutcracker playing in the back of my head.

I was referring to your point about Barber getting all those goal line td's like it was some easy feat. And yea the td catches were easy. So was Austin's. You're nitpicking. You just don't want to like the trade which is fine. But don't come off as if you have some valid argument because you don't. Roy and Romo are on the same page. A fan of the Cowboys has to be happy about that. A hater of Roy won't be because we traded 3 1st rounders and gave him a 100 million dollar contract.

The concern with Spencer is that when tailbacks or TE's stay and block, then release, he tends to rush the QB too early and when the TE/RB releases they are open for a big gains.

YAKUZA

Reminds me of the season when we could not stop the fullback receiving out of the backfield when our LB's would rush up field. We need to play with a little more discipline.

Hey look, Brooking and Scandrick attack the media and look who gets a negative article.

Surely just a coincidence.

Brooking I understand, but Scandrick hasn't been playing well.

Maybe it's my Agenda against RW. But RW hasn't had 2 TD's in a game since Detroit and we loss the game. RW goes over 100 yards we lose the game. Win a game for us RW. He supposed to be our # 1 even though we know that's not the case. We traded a lot for him and brought him to help us when games...The dudes best games of the season result in losing efforts and he has is non existent in our wins. So really what's the point in having him on our team ?

So if RW plays badly we win. He plays well we lose. Your logic sucks. You should be happy he has had a poor season. Imagine if he lit it up this year? We probably would not have won a single game.
