FWST: Williams, Spencer, Jenkins offer hope; Brooking, Scandrick, Folk foster concern

Hey look, Brooking and Scandrick attack the media and look who gets a negative article.

Surely just a coincidence.
Good Point.
Clarence Hill is a fraud. Dallas/Fort Worth is really hamstrung by a terrible group of writers and columnists.

Exceptions: Cowlishaw (80% of the time) & Archer & Fraley & Evan Grant

No point just stating an observation.

I don't see the connection. Seems just like a coincidence to me. He had what? 3 catches for 80 plus yards against the Bucc's didn't he? The offense didn't lose the game on Sunday that's for sure.

There wasn't any connection because he didn't have a point.

I'm saying RW doesn't show up it when it counts.

I thought you said you didn't have a point? And what counts to you? What's your idea of counting? Only when the Cowboys lose? He showed up last game against a rival and we lost.

Division opponent December playoffs teams with good records. Padding your stats in the 4th quarter or against bad teams is nothing more than fluff.

I would say that he showed up against the Giants, but that it didn't matter in the end.

So what is the Giants? "Turrble"? Its December, he played well in the Giants game against a "division opponent" so he's 1-0 right? Or no?

So he had a big game in a losing effort again huh ?

So if he showed up and still lost what does it even matter?

No it doesn't matter in a losing effort. But you brought up Roy comes up big in losing efforts and my point is its not his fault it was a losing effort. Its not anyone on the offenses fault. They played well enough to win. Witten had 100+ yards. Austin had 100+ yards. Romo had 400 yards. So did they have bad efforts because we lost? Special teams and defense lost this game so I don't understand how you're turning this into a poor effort by Roy when he had 60 yards and two td's.

It's convenient that you include the "or against bad teams" qualifier in your non-POINT statement. After all, that would have left you attempting to explain Williams padding his 4th quarter stats against the Giants as follows:
  • 1st quarter receiving touchdown to make the score 10-0 Cowboys
  • 3rd quarter receiving touchdown to make the score 17-14 Cowboys
That's good fluff.

That really makes sense to you?

Nvm. Don't answer. My bad. I really try to stay out of these nonsensical discussions.

I hate to break it to you, but that tends to happen in sports.

Maybe it's my Agenda against RW. But RW hasn't had 2 TD's in a game since Detroit and we loss the game. RW goes over 100 yards we lose the game. Win a game for us RW. He supposed to be our # 1 even though we know that's not the case. We traded a lot for him and brought him to help us when games...The dudes best games of the season result in losing efforts and he has is non existent in our wins. So really what's the point in having him on our team ?

I really like Joe D.

As for Spencer the fact that he couldn't run down Jacobs doesn't bring up any question? That's 2 straight weeks Spencer has been beat in coverage against a RB. Shouldn't their be concern there?

So we traded all that stuff for RW for him to be a #2 and that catches that ball sometimes. RW still seems to have his biggest games in losing efforts for the cowboys.

Yeah I know how long were those TD catches? 1st and 3 quarter TD's isn't showing up when it counts..... and Austins TD was fluff. So from his 3rd quarter TD till when Austin scored where are either these guys making plays at?

Its definately your agenda clouding your opinion because I have no idea what the hell you're talking about lol. I'm trying to follow you but it makes no sense. What part of "The offense didn't lose this game" are you not getting? I just don't see why you're putting this on Roy lol. He went out and won you this game. He scored 14 points. Or I guess technically 12 points. The Giants scored on a 72 yard Jacobs td and a punt return. So while we're blaming Roy why not blame Witten, Austin and Romo while we're at it. They had even more yards but it was in a losing effort. Romo should've had 500 yards I suppose.

The offense didn't score more points then they did. They are as much to blame as our defense. I remember people earlier in the season were saying yards don't equate into points. It doesn't matter how many yards you put up in the game if you can't score.
