The Bucs are $30+ mil under the cap, they can afford the hit.

Also, they might be the cheapest francise in the NFL, so they don't have to pay the rest of his salary.

Tampa Bay is the second favorite franchise of their owner. No big surprise.

News: The Buccaneers traded defensive end Gaines Adams to the Bears for a second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft on Friday.
Analysis: Adams played in 37 career games with 29 starts, totaling 124 tackles, 13.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 13 passes defensed. He entered the league as Tampa Bay’s first round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft. Bears defensive line coach Rod Marinelli had coveted Adams back in 2007 when he came out of Clemson and was coach of the Lions. Now Marinelli will get the chance to work with him.

When is the last time Dallas had a decent trade like this one the Bears just snagged!

:star:  :star:

That's going to be a low second-round pick based on how well the Bears are playing.

Cleveland and Tampa Bay are conducting fire sales aren't they?

I love the Bears' aggression!! They are trying 2 win THIS SEASON.

Spencer would get down on his knees for 13 career sacks.
