I don't think many really care what Galloway thinks. If Dallas goes out and takes care of business Sat all these stories will be vauge memories. Dallas is down right now and some will use this time to kick them while they are down.

Its really not about "people caring or not caring what Galloway think"

Perception is everything in this world.... lets see

I dont know about that.

Even though the Cowboys are not playing well, I dont think alot of people would be surprised if we won in Seattle. They are struggling also and the NFC is just not that strong.

Personally, I think we have to win at least 2 Playoff Games or play very well in the 2nd one to change the opinion of Parcells among the fans and talking heads in the media.

Im aware that those opinions mean very little but if we are talking about talking heads in the media and fans, i think 2 wins in the Playoffs would make them forget about the collapeses and lackluster effort in December.

I agree for some even if Dallas beats Seattle (which few are predicting) some talking heads will continue to make these statements. Myself I don't think it means much one way or the other. Only opinion that matters is that of Jones and Parcells

The Philly writers were saying the exact same thing about Reid just weeks ago. These stories write themselves. The team is struggling, so clearly they must be tuning Parcells out. That is, if you've already got an axe to grind against Parcells. ;)

Preception in this case means nothing. Galloway is stating an opinion nothing more and last time I checked he is not part of this organization nor does he have any say so in what takes place on this team.

2 Wins would make us 11-7 this year which is better than 9-7...

edit, opps I guess 2 wins would makes us 11-8.

That's true.

But I really think the team has to play exceptionally well and lose or win outright for Parcells to stay, whether that is by way of a Pink Slip or Retirement, I dont.

That is just an opinion though.

But I think it is clearly understood that Parcells is on the hot seat, just look at Jerry Jones' comments for further reference.

That is exactly right, they also said jim johnson and the defense were done. The eagles defense stuck for about a month, got taken apart on the road at indy and then they snuck out a game against carolina where they were booed by their home fans all game.

Then they won in washington, they had no business winning that game but campbell was dreadful that day. THrew a horrendous interception for a td and then missed a wide open randle el for a td later. Then after all that the Commanders had the ball 4th and goal with a chance to win the game with a little over 2 minutes to go and they kicked a field goal. It was a brain dead play call, they never got the ball back and lost.

The eagles caught a break against carolina and got severly outplayed by washington, they should have lost at least one of those games, but they didnt and it started giving them confidence and momentum.

Sound familiar. We just need a way to find a way, scratch out a win somehow saturday and we could get the swagger back.

Every team in the nfc but chicago has played bad for at least a stretch of a month, ours just came at a bad time.

We just need one break, or one thing to go our way to fire this team up to make them believe again.

Its like they say, you have to see it to believe it, and that is where this team is at right now.

Very nice summary. I back that completely. One win, and a playoff win no less, can work wonders.

Good point! Even Chicago had their bad stretch with Grossman looking like a dog. Just gotta win one and hope that does the trick.

Who cares what he thinks. He thought Dallas blew it by not signing Culpepper. Galloway and the Ball of Hate have nothing to do until they see a chink to start hammering on. I'm sure he hasn't got a clue what goes on with the team behind closed doors, so like most editorialists, he makes it up.

I would love to see how this team played IF we beat Seattle.

It seems like that's what's happened, but it makes no sense. They were 8-4 and had the division and #2 seed in front of them and it looked like they just mailed it in from then on. IF he in fact has lost the team, then he's got to go regardless of whether he wants to come back or not.

I really don't know how they can lose faith in BP when the biggest problems by the D have been individual mistakes by individual players.

Burnett - gives up a huge pass.

Newman drops the punt and gives up the big TD

Romo lays it on the carpet 4 times.

First in the flat how many times?

I mean I could go on for a few pages!

Scheme problems or not, you have to execute your assignments

I don't believe the players would read many articles from Galloway and think it had any basis in fact unless it actually did and they would know that would they not?

If it is in fact the case, then it is a problem.

If it is not true, I don't care what Galloway writes, then it is not a problem!
