I really don't know how they can lose faith in BP when the biggest problems by the D have been individual mistakes by individual players.

Burnett - gives up a huge pass.

Newman drops the punt and gives up the big TD

Romo lays it on the carpet 4 times.

First in the flat how many times?

I mean I could go on for a few pages!

Scheme problems or not, you have to execute your assignments

I don't believe the players would read many articles from Galloway and think it had any basis in fact unless it actually did and they would know that would they not?

If it is in fact the case, then it is a problem.

If it is not true, I don't care what Galloway writes, then it is not a problem!

The problem is if the players do not have faith in the system your system will fail period end of story . Call me what ever but are defense players talk and have shown the body language this last month similar to the Texans offensive players last year (which got the plugged pulled on Chris Palmer).

I am not sure about the other games, but the plan against Atlanta was a very good plan that kept Vick relatively in check and if not for a couple of bad CB plays would have held them to very little.

New Orleans was bad, I will give you that.

Detroit, I disagree about the game plan there too. It was offensive turnovers and special teams that cost the team last week. If we don't have 3 turnovers detroit's passing game puts up fewer yards for sure and less points for sure. With those turnovers we still did as well, (yards wise) as Chicagos D and NE's. The offensive plan was solid, we could obviously move the ball through the air, again, the uncharacteristic turnovers. You cannot gameplan around unforeseable turnovers.

Philly, I will give you the goalline fiasco, but there were tons of player errors in that game that you cannot blame on coaching.

Can you blame any member of this team for losing faith in Parcells?

You have a player like owens, (this isn't a bash on him, really) has he EVER been afraid to say some thing? If this team has shut out Parcells owens would have held a news conference in his drive way. In all seriousness owens or some one else would have at least whispered this to the press.

The Philly writers were saying the exact same thing about Reid just weeks ago. These stories write themselves. The team is struggling, so clearly they must be tuning Parcells out. That is, if you've already got an axe to grind against Parcells.

I think it's them taking Romo and Newman saying they don't listen to Parcells, and running w/ it

only not mentioning the most important part, that they understand all the stuff he says, and don't need to hear it anymore, which should be the case, 16 games, and you run out of incentive, encouragement, threats of beheading to say, and the message gets repetitive

personally, it's about time players tuned out Parcells and started motivating themselves to play better
