Gallup and Pollard

I hope MM tries something to get Gallup more involved. I feel like it can't be all Lamb, Ferguson, and occasional Cooks. Maybe a Wr bubble screen, or a jet sweep, to at least make the defense remember he's on the field. As far as Pollard, I feel he just runs the play as called. It's like he's not using his natural instincts as a Rb to run to daylight. Now that being said, the O-line has to do a better job of getting a push and opening holes for TP.

I really hope not. Gallup is toast. He just doesn’t have it anymore. I don’t want to see any involvement at all from Michael Gallup and hope he is not on this team next year.

I think they're not involved because they're just not the players they used to be.

It sucks but it happens, especially after the injuries they sustained.

How bad is the cap hit if they cut Gallup? I know the cap can be fluid with contract restructuring, etc.

Gallup saves $9.5m as a post June 1 cut. Only DLaw and Prescott save more.

I strongly suspect he will be a post June 1 cut. Maybe if he is rational he takes a big paycut and stays on the team but agents tend to try to push their clients away from that.

Gallup is washed up. He was not even in the Detroit game.

The problem isn''t Gallup, or Tolbert. For that matter, the problem isn't Dak. Our QB has zero time to find open receivers, and only the 3 usuals have the skill set to find open space. Dak has never been nor ever will be a guy who scramble around like an LJ, and wait for an open receiver. Until we strengthen our OL we will have no running game, nor will Dak be able to utilize anybody not named Lamb, Fergie or Cooks

No thanks. I’m riding Ceedee , Ferguson , and Cooks maybe occasionally Turpin. Anything else is a wasted touch. Can’t fix WR3 and RB until the offseason.

That’s why it’s stupid to sign guys to contracts coming off of an injury. Jerry loves to do that dumb crap. It hurts more than it helps.

Terrance Steele, Michael Gallup, and Tony Pollard. All hurt.

Pollard's burst has improved as the season has gone on. He's much better than he was at the start of the season. He showed on the final scoring drive that he can get it done when you need him. Steele is not the tackle he was before his injury and that is affecting the running game at times. Of the three you mentioned, Pollard has had the best bounce back year.

Used to like 13 but he has lost lot of it after injury. His desire and skill is gone

Pollard not putting that ball in the endzone a couple games ago tells me everything I need to know.
